You Won’t Believe Who Is Getting Busted Like Al Capone

Al Capone, as you may know, was notorious as a mobster. Just his involvement with the mafia at such a high level implicates him in extreme violence and illegal activities.
But many people don’t know that Capone was never busted for being in the mafia or for murdering anyone or for any of the criminal activities that he was undoubtedly involved with. No. He was busted and sent to jail on an administrative issue of sorts. They got him for tax evasion, for making more money than he was reporting.
In a similar way, it looks like Jonathan Gruber, the architect of Obamacare, is looking at criminal charges for “phantom billing” and tax fraud.
Just to clarify, phantom billing is when a medical practice bills a patient (or insurance company) for services that never happened. In the same way, Gruber is under investigation for charging multiple states and the Federal government. Naturalnews.com notes,
“‘Jonathan Gruber has failed to provide any evidence that the $80,000 he’s been paid by the state of Vermont for 800 hours of work he claimed was performed by unidentified research assistants was actually performed, or that these research assistants even exist and were paid,’ [Darcie] Johnston [head of Vermonters for Health Care Freedom] told Breitbart News.”
J.D. Heyes continues,
“Besides Vermont, officials with the state of Minnesota and the House Government Oversight and Reform Committee have confirmed they are also looking into Gruber’s billing practices and consulting contracts. Also, the Inspector General’s Office of the Department of Health and Human Services is considering an inquiry, Breitbart News reported.”
I wouldn’t wish dealings with the criminal system in America on anyone, but, after what this man has done to this country, and the fraud that he used to do it (and “earned an estimated $5 million over the past four years, most from federal and state contracts.” That’s you and me paying for that, folks.), I’m happy to see that some justice is beginning to come back around.
He saddled America with the Obamacare monstrosity for his own profit. It’s satisfying to see that he may have to pay some dues to the society that he gave the shaft to.
