Are you someone who genuinely lives life in the “Yellow Zone”?

In other words, do you pride yourself in being tactically aware of your environment and your surroundings?

If so, then it’s probably no surprise to you that the people, cars, and vehicles around you may not be what they appear.

In fact, someone could be watching you right now…

… targeting you for an ambush … stalking your spouse for a brutal attack … even targeting your kids or grand-kids

Do you know the signs to look for?

If you feel you’re being followed, do you know how to lose them? Here are...

3 Urban Escape & Evasion Tips For Losing A Tail Click Here For More Escape & Evasion Tips 1. Trust Your Gut

That’s the first rule that everyone - including military, bodyguards and CIA agents - will tell you to do.

If someone feels suspicious to you, you’re probably right.

But then, you’ve gotta find a way to lose them so you can get to a safe place rather than put yourself in a position where you have to fight...

2. Create A "Tactical Gap"

One way to lose a stalker when you’re walking on the street is to turn a corner and then run quickly as far ahead as possible - about the time it would take for them to turn the corner themselves.

If they're trying to follow you, this will shock them that you're suddenly that far ahead and you'll notice their response - eliminating any doubt they're after you.

Your next move is critical...

3. Break The Trend Line

Our brains think in logical sequences: first this... then that... etc... establishing a predictable "trend line"

In a panic, your brain will tell you to choose the simplest escape route - typically a straight line to the most open path because our "fight or flight" programming tells us to try to outdistance an enemy with speed.

That's great if you're an Olympic sprinter... but for escape and evasion, you're better off being "smarter" than your tracker and break the trend line of your path.

In other words, instead of following a logical exit path that your tail will anticipate, after turning a corner, quickly duck into a store.

You can tell a store clerk that you think someone is following you and to call 911.

Or - if you're just looking to lose a tail - ask if you can go out their back exit.

This is a simple trick often used by special agents that could literally save you or a loved one from an attack.

(For more escape & evasion tricks, I highly suggest you check out our complete E&E guide here. mcs-mag.com/t/urban-escape-evasion The program is really designed for "worst case" scenarios like mobs, riots, and ambushes - but the tricks you'll find inside will work in ANY scenario where you're being targeted as a victim.)

Face it… the worst thing you could possibly do is think to yourself “it could never happen to me”.

The true survivalist knows that kidnappings and robberies happen every day in almost every city in the U.S.

You don’t want to end up the victim of some low-life criminal because you didn’t know they were watching you… and what to do about it.

When I drove the big truck, occasionally a 4-wheeler would slide in behind me so I could pull him along with the drag from the trailer. This is bad since the driver of the car does not know when, or if, the truck may brake.

When that would happen, I would be forced to pull off on a ramp to lose them. NEVER do this unless you know for sure that the trucker is aware of it. The only way to do that is with a CB radio.
