A 75-year-old white-haired Koren War Veteran who was caught on youtube pushing and shoving a young black woman at a Trump rally earlier this month has apologized for his "shameful" behavior and gone into hiding, fleeing to another state. Alvin Bamberger, a member of the Aurora, Indiana chapter of the Korean War Veterans Association, explained that he "was caught up in the frenzy."
The video below shows Bamberger pushing University of Louisville student Shiya Nwanguma.
Military.com verified Bamberger's apology, in a letter he wrote to the Korean war vets association.
"I physically pushed a young woman down the aisle toward the exit, an action I sincerely regret," Bamberger said in a letter to Larry Kinard, president of the Korean War Veterans Association. "I have embarrassed myself, my family, and Veterans," he wrote. "This was a very unfortunate incident and it is my sincere hope that I can be forgiven for my actions."
In a previous statement to Military.com, Kinard said Bamberger was not at the rally representing the association and that the group "does not, in any way, condone his actions." He said the association will determine after weighing all the facts whether it should take any action regarding Bamberger.
"Unfortunately my state of mind after being knocked down and hurt myself, and being caught between a group of white supremacists and Black Lives Matter protestors contributed to my behavior however, there is no excuse for my actions," he wrote.
Bamberger told radio station WSCH in Lawrence, Kansas that he has been staying with family in Colorado since the incident."
I attended this rally, mostly out of curiosity plus it was free. Because of the crowds I think I got into the rally at about the 20 minute point or about halfway through his talking points.
Lots of protesters had infiltrated the crowd and they were escorted out for the most part peacefully. I heard the local news coverage a day or two later reporting a few were man-handled.
There were protesters outdoors with signs and such. I observed no problems.

Seems crazy the colyums would contain lead -- am digging around on it. But the idea the Greeks would be that desperate to save their culture isn't so crazy. It's soulless amerika that runs around the world sacking museums etc while screeching about the Taliban.
