Michael Hoffman reports: Today the celebrated libertarian Lew Rockwell published a column advocating Talmudic ethics as a corrective for GOP corruption. No, this is not a joke. You read those words correctly.

The essay, “The Babylonian Talmud vs. the Colorado GOP,” lectures gentile Republicans on the corrective they need to straighten their party out: the ethical integrity of Rabbi Moses Maimonides and the wisdom of the Talmud of Babylon!"

Rabbi Moses Maimonides, aka RAMBAM. (This nickname which I learned was an acronym was what made me curious. He sounded like a Flintstones character)

I looked him up years ago and learned that his power endures to this day, over 800 years after his death.

"Moshe ben Maimon (Hebrew: משה בן מימון‎), or Mks ibn Maymkn (Arabic: موسى بن ميمون‎), acronymed Rambam (/ÈrQÐmbQÐm/; Hebrew: רמב״ם‎ – for "Rabbeinu Moshe Ben Maimon", "Our Rabbi/Teacher Moses Son of Maimon"), and Graecized (and subsequently Latinized) Moses Maimonides (/majÈmRnjdiÐz/[5] my-MON-i-deez), a preeminent medieval Sephardic Jewish philosopher and astronomer,[6] became one of the most prolific and influential Torah scholars and physicians[7][8][9] of the Middle Ages. Born in Cordova (present-day Spain), Almoravid Empire on Passover Eve, 1135 or 1138,[10][11][12][13][14] he died in Egypt on December 12, 1204, whence his body was taken to the lower Galilee and buried in Tiberias.[15][16] He worked as a rabbi, physician, and philosopher in Morocco and Egypt." (wiki)

And, why should anyone be surprised that a paleocon website (followers of the Ludwig von Mises school of economic thought) is cozy with our non-Christian brothers and sisters? That's been the case since Bill Buckley was their standard bearer according to the "first neo Nazi, combat fighter pilot and murder victim George Lincoln Rockwell".

This was years before Lew's site became the voice of the dead. They may as well publish in Latin for all the good paleoconservatives do. I mean it's like a trip to the 50's or climbing inside your TV during an episode of LEAVE IT TO BEAVER.

I always assumed paleocons (which I consider myself) were not exactly aligned with the Mises libertarian crowd, particularly on the border issue. Paleos are not a friend to izzy, hence the Buckley neocon crowd evolved to the opposite of antisemite paleos. There's an interview with buckley, Buchanan and Larry McDonald on youtube and they Ooze contempt for the soon to be dead truther congressman.

Exactly exactly. Libertarianism is conservatism without the conservatism, especially anything re race. Conservatism for yankees -- they're generally the most race-psychotic people on earth. I speak as a onetime longtime northerner.

By yankees I mean the overbearing, obnoxious, messianic kind of course -- regardless of which non-Southern region they come from. NY = CA = KS in this sense.

(This is pure coincidence -- I kid you not -- and a perfect case in point: yankee website typically the yankee mentality onto white Southerners knowing they're an easy, docile target. Not much has changed with yankees in the 164 years since Uncle Tom's Cabin was written, they just keep getting more myopic and self-righteous!)

Was Larry a good friend of the Zionist superministate?

I seem to recall that he was in the house leadership, which of course required unflagging loyalty to the US's majority munny powerz

And, it wouldn't surprise me if KAL 007 was equipped with super-dooper, U2 type spy gear when it "negligently strayed" from it's assigned flight path and then flew over a secret Soviet installation.

We'll never know if it was shot down or forced to land, or if the congressman is now occupying the digs used by Raul Wallenberg.
