Drew Barrymore Welcomes Second Child
Drew Barrymore is bouncing back with the help of friends from what she called her "biggest failure": her divorce from Will Kopelman.
The mother of two appeared on the first episode of good friend Chelsea Handler's new Netflix show, "Chelsea."
"Youre somebody that everybodys always rooting for, and I dont know if you know that or feel that -- because there are people that not everybodys rooting for," Handler said referring to Barrymore's divorce, which was announced in April. "But you are somebody who everybody goes, Oh, no. No. You want good things to happen to you. So do you feel that?"
"I cant tell you how incredible it was to feel because I put in my statement about divorce the word failure, because its so honest," Barrymore responded. "You break up with somebody, and youre just like, Yeah, that didnt work. And you get divorced and youre like, Im the biggest failure. This is the biggest failure. It's so shameful and hard to actually go through that, even privately."

The 41-year-old "Blended" star told Handler she's getting through it with the help of friends and family.
"Everyone has just been so cool and chill and nice about everything that it quelled my own fears and demons about how we sort of have to go through things in life," she said.
And while she's not ready to date quite yet, she is looking forward to some girlfriend time.
"The biggest sort of path in my life has been paved by women," said the mother of two daughters. "I love women."

Barrymore and Kopelman released a joint statement in April announcing the end of their four-year marriage.
"Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family," the pair said in the statement. "Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority."
