Epic story about two former Texas rangers who decide to move cattle from the south to Montana. Augustus McCrae and Woodrow Call run into many problems on the way, and the journey doesn't end without numerous casualties.

One of the greatest westerns of all time. It shows how life really was back then.

Larry McMurtry's '85 Pulitzer Prize winner - no redo of this one will ever be attempted.

It was too epic and I doubt they could ever find someone to play the two Rangers again. Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones were the best. ;)

Why do you think I dress like a cowboy? I was the last cowboy in Chicago, and got my first Stetson hat at Morris Men's Shop in the Stock Yard Inn on south Halstead St. before it was closed and torn down.

Oddly, there are no stories about the Stock Yard Inn being torn down in any Chicago newspaper. But there is one in the Milwaukee Journal.
