It was sickening. "It can't be wrongggggg if it feeeeeeels so riiiiiiiight" -- this a hit by "Christian" sirens Debbie Boone and Barbara Mandrell!

thanks, that's a beautiful live version. I actually already have that on my mp3 too. :-)

Streisand is married to 9/11 truther actor james brolin.

I like her and neil diamond, both talented jews. (those were in the category of my moms music.) I once posted a thread here titled "NAME A JEW YOU LIKE" and it got bombarded with replies. I tried to find the thread one time, but it seems to be gone forever.

I like a wildly varying selection of music because I was the youngest of 6 kids and each person along with my folks had certain music they liked and played. some people trip out when they hear DIO, Clapton, van halen, springsteen, smashing pumpkins, earth wind & fire, andy Williams and glenn Campbell, & the scorpions, joe Jackson and pavaratti on the same playlist.

dang man, I thought I was strict. your lyrics standards make me look like a heathen!

that reminds me, one song my dad never liked , because of the lyric was frank Sinatra's 'my way', because of the specific line "and not the words of one who kneels"

"Even to the death fight for truth, and the LORD your God will battle for you". Sirach 4:28

You're right, Debby was absolutely played ad naseum, and to death.

Well, my brothah, what could be a more open encouragement to fornicate or adulterize? How many variants shall I list -- "If loving you is wrong I don't want to be right," "Tomorrow doesn't matter tonight," "I don't care what's wrong or right"..... I'd venture to say these sermons account for most or all occurrences of the word "wrong" in lyrics.

Good for your father. 'My way' is a SICKENING apotheosis of the New Joisey mob matrix ethos -- the worst thing since Frankie's My Way.

I'm not much fun once you get to know me -- have REALLY made my upcountry expat gang mad this week preaching them the Jewth, and there are some covert kikers in there.

I can see your point with songs such as the blatant "help me make it through the night" and "we've got tonight" but you light up my life is more subtle, with the purported offending line at the very end. Good catch!

===========================================

It came out the year I spent in Korea - '79.

I heard that damn song every time I went anywhere even in Korea.

Its not a bad song, but still can't listen to it past the first two words because I got so sick of hearing it.

LoL

Power trios.... Grand Funk? ELP? For me it's CS&N, PP&M, Rooftop Singers &c.

Very unusual song, that -- 'post-apocalyptic'. Lulu recorded it! :-)
