Israel/Zionism See other Israel/Zionism Articles Title: Friends (of Israel and the EU funded by US Jews) What a cool title. Now I can hear you all bitching: But Mantiq thats Europes problem, we here in whats left of these United States need to focus on all those other groups youve written about on your blog who propagandize, radicalize, zionize, and perform all sorts of other izes here in our TSA-protected (hahahahahahahaha and ha!) homeland. We mean groups like Taghlight-Birthright, the JNF, JPPI, Friends of the IDF, Ateret Cohanim, The Israel Project, The Israel Leadership Council, Ben Cardin, Israel Scouts, Friends of Israel Scouts, the US Senate, the US House of Representatives, Camp Young Judea, Celebrate Israel, The Jerusalem Post Annual Conference, the Conference of Presidents of Majory American Jewish Organizations, The National Jewish Democratic Council, The Republican Jewish Council, Haim Saban, Mossad Jane Harman, AIPAC, WINEP, Nefesh BNefesh, The Democratic Party, The Republican Party, and did we mention Ben Cardin? Oh ye of little fiqh. It turns out that the Israel lobby in the EU is often funded by the Americans who also fund many of the aforementioned groups. The study covers a number of organizations set up in recent years to make sure Europe toes the far right zionist line. For example, one outfit is called the Friends of Israel Initiative. The UK launch of FII was at the British House of Commons in July 2010. The event was hosted by neoconservative think tank the Henry Jackson Society, sponsored by Tory MP Robert Halfon, who at the time was political director of Conservative Friends of Israel, and attended by Aznar, as well as former president of the Italian Senate Marcello Pera and British historian and Henry Jackson Society signatory Andrew Roberts, both co-founders of FII.112 Now that does look pretty British doesnt it? Lets follow the money. Anybody there look familiar? Loot at all the wonderful groups all coming together. Give you the warm and fuzzies? Read the report and weep. It gets worse with each page. Zionism has a way of doing that. But I digress. Here are just a couple of FII-related quotes. Note to Shas party members, red highlighting is done by todays diminutive guest editor, Mulayka Al-Almaniyya. FIIs largest known American donor is Sheldon Adelson, the worlds 18th wealthiest billionaire.210 Adelson is a conservative Jewish casino billionaire who owns several right-wing Israeli media organisations, including Israel Hayom, Makor Rishon and Maariv, He contributes a considerable sum to the Jerusalem Centre for Public Affairs headed by Dore Gold, and in 2007 he donated $4.5 million to establish a research centre at the right-wing Shalem Center in Jerusalem (now known as Shalem College). In 2012, Adelson donated $32 million to Taglit-Birthright Israel, amounting to about 40 per cent of its annual budget.211 Birthright is a Zionist organisation based in West Jerusalem that arranges and finances trips to Israel for Jewish young adults around the world aged 1826 years old, aiming to strengthen their relations with the State of Israel. In 2013, the Birthright Israel Foundation in New York reported an income of $74,221,738. Want just a bit more? Sure you do. Admit it. Heres a couple of more grams. (Mulaykah, some folks might feel you are over doing it with the red highlighting naah.) Roger Hertog is another Conservative Jewish-American businessman turned philanthropist that funds FII, as well as the American Jewish Committee, (which is discussed in the following chapter). Hertog is chairperson of the Tikvah Fund, established by Jewish-American billionaire Zalman Bernstein, and helped to found the Shalem Center. Tikvah continues to fund Shalem College today (it donated $2,656,250 in 2013), and also finances right-wing settlement projects in the occupied territories. Between 2012-2013, Tikvah funnelled money to the following Israeli settlements: $40,000 to an institute in Efrat; $166,150 to Herzog College in Gush Etzion; $587,217 for a leadership programme in Alon; and $663,821 to Kfar Adumim. Board members of the Tikvah Fund include: Elliot Abrams, national security advisor during the George W. Bush administration; William Kristol, founder and editor of the right-wing political magazine The Weekly Standard; and Sallai Meridor, former Israeli Ambassador to the United States. 2. Shas Party chairman and great humanitarian Aryeh Deri is a family man. Exposé: Shas jobs all in the family Deris family. Even Shas party members can understand this. Oh, and near the end of the article we get this golden tidbit: Deri was infamously convicted of taking $155,000 in bribes in 2000, during his previous stint as Interior Minister. He was sentenced to three years in prison, but was released for good behavior after 22 months. On the other hand, we also learn this: He is currently the subject of yet another corruption probe, along with his brother. Friends and family. 3. Then there is Shas Party spiritual leader Shalom Cohen. He has a nice take on Jewish Jihad: Do you think that the people of Israel need an army? Rabbi Shalom Cohen asked during a sermon. It is God almighty who fights for Israel. But I digress. He has bravely come out in support of Deri despite Deris checkered past and the recent allegations. God will protect those who work for the good of the public, he reportedly told Deri. Continue your holy work for the people of Israel. Friends helping friends. Still, the idea of there being no IDF is kind of appealing. Maybe he is onto something. 4. de Blasio. Berlinrosen. Jonathan Rosen. Bloomberg. Technion. Berlinrosen. Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute. Bloomberg. Bloomberg. $100 million. Cornell Tech. Cornell Tech. Berlinrosen. Friends. 5. And thus we have things like this. Iraqi war veteran and Muslim hater. Note that the former soldier seems to think he was fighting Islam. Wonder why? Not friends. Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top Page Up Full Thread Page Down Bottom/Latest

Yeah, they just run everything that stands to benefit their own. My special favorite is the Christian-and-Jewish-coalition type -- it's all 100% to help the poor starving Holohoax survivors in Jaffa or whatever.

David Horowitz (author of Radical Son) looks familiar. Met him back in December '97. Real short guy. He was pushing for the Conservative movement due to the heavy influx of the Radical Leftovers.
Debt cancellation -- the only answer to the Fed. Or as people insist on witlessly putting it, the FED. Let'see if my tagline comes out right this time - 4th attempt. -------------------------------------------------------------- |
