Hardened police officers were left spooked after witnessing bizarre 'paranormal' activity at a family home.

After a call out in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire officers witnessed clothes flying across a room and lights going off and on.

Lampshades were placed upside down and oven doors were opening and closing.

Even a chihuahua dog which was playing in the garden was then inexplicably discovered sitting on top of a seven-foot hedge.

The family who live at the property had called the police in a panic. They endured two days of the bizarre occurrences before moving out of the property, report the Daily Record.

The situation has been discussed at high levels within Police Scotland, with senior officers perplexed as to how they best handle the incidents.

A police source said: “These were incidents that were witnessed by our own officers. Incidents that are not easily explained.

“One problem we’ve got is where we go from here as no crime has been established, so what else can we do but deal with any reports of disturbances.

“But officers with more than 20 years’ service are saying they’ve never seen anything like this. It really is something that down-to-earth police officers are having trouble getting their heads round.

“How do you handle what, despite us liking to use the word, has been described as a poltergeist.”

The family at the centre of the drama are devoutly Catholic and police did seek assistance from the church.

A priest has been to the house in Stonelaw Road and performed what has been described as a ‘blessing’ at the property.

The saga unfolded when the family, a woman and her son in his early teens, contacted police on Monday and Tuesday to report ‘disturbing incidents’ in her home.

The woman and the teenager, described as extremely distressed, had been experiencing violent and unexplained circumstances and in desperation contacted police.

A source said: “The officers attended expecting it to be a mental health issue but they witnessed the lights going off, clothes flying across the room and the dog sitting on top of the hedge.

“The officers called their superiors who also attended thinking the cops were perhaps being a bit silly but it’s being taken very seriously.

“The fact it was witnessed by our officers has lent itself to a very different but active inquiry”........

The great anti-Zionist advocate Ed Toner -- very sane retired airline pilot and father of 8 -- used to report constant classic poltergeist activity in his home. I've never wanted to believe in thistuff and still don't, but what can you say? (1 image)

No cell phone or body-cam video?

the family, a woman and her son

Usually on C2C house history reveals some incident. What's the score on the husband?

I've never wanted to believe in this stuff and still don't, but what can you say?

The Bell Witch curse was one of many cases where the presence of a conflicted teen aged girl factored in. (It turned out that John Bell was taking shameful liberties with his own daughter who needed a father, not a lover)

Perhaps in the Scotland incident there's a teen aged girl inside the son (or the chihuahua) trying to get out?

Hmmmm! As Obnoxiety pointed out, there's no mention of video..... but why would the police participate in a fraud? Mebbe to cover some kind of corruption.

Can also be a teenage boy. Send the kid to boarding school and problem will be solved.

I'm not too sure I agree with that solution, Ma'am.

Boys' boarding schools teach the fine art of circle jerks year round instead of just summer camp. And, I believe they're magnets for yet to be convicted pederasts.....

I'm inclined to believe that the report is accurate. There's ample proof of objects being moved and people being injured by unseen forces.

Where is such proof? Videos needed.

Perhaps true but it will rid his house of the poltergeists.

I knew a kid that was an escapee from Maryville Academy in Chicago, but he may have been in the foster care program they ran there at the time. Not even sure if he is still alive since he was into gang banging.

Matter of fact, after I did an online check, it seems that Maryville across the entire Chicago area will be shutting its doors to the care of children in need. This seems to be because of funding cuts by the State.

Videos needed by whom?

I've already researched the issue to my satisfaction. And it matters not to me if skeptics remain unconvinced.

EDIT: I didn't mean to imply that I'd seen convincing validation of this incident.

There's a defense against pederasts but not against poltergeists except getting rid of the teenager that's attracting them.

Oh, well, if you've researched the issue to your satisfaction and it matters not to you whether skeptics remain unconvinced, wow!

That's like totally ossome!

I'm sorry if this answer seemed flip to you. The facts are as follows:

Ron Morehead has provided convincing proof of his inter-reactions with Bigfoots (or Bigfeet?) that began in the 1970s, high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

The possibility that these people would travel to above 10,000 feet in elevation (to a location where meeting other humans is extremely unlikely, and the closest vehicles can get on good days is a minimum of five hours down the mountain) ) to hoax these events, i.e., providing UN-recognizable vocalizations right outside the tent while leaving no prints and dragging no high quality equipment (that would pass sophisticated tests of not containing phony, pre-recorded sounds) and performing other feats beyond human capabilities is unlikely.

For over twenty five years Morehead, his partner, a skeptical newspaper reporter and occasional others experienced the presence of creatures who eventually learned to trust the group, while never allowing themselves to be filmed or photographed.

But, in the face of official denial there is a large percentage of people who simply will not accept the evidence, because A) their religious beliefs would conflict with such acceptance, and B) Big Daddy Government told them that they don't have to worry, there are no really scary woolies in the woods that FEDGOV cannot protect us from.

Because I have no way of knowing who is among those who will not acknowledge indisputable truth I will not invest precious time butting my head against an immoveable wall of stubborn ignorance. And. because the proof is there for those who search for it (as is the proof of UFOs) when asked to provide it for others who for whatever reasons haven't researched it for themselves, well, you get the picture.

If it was as simple as providing links, the ubiquitous (and anonymous) skeptics-in-denial-without-portfolio-but-with agendas-of-their-own would not be everywhere humping the legs of honest, credible witnesses who have no reason to lie and in fact knowingly risk humiliation and harassment to bring forth the truth.

Finally, even though I provided no info for you (to accept or attack) you demonstrated a desire to reply with a smarmy comment rather than a sincere desire for enlightenment. So, which category would you put yourself in?

Understand?

Now Ron Morehead's book (2nd edition) is more than I wanted to spend but the e-copy and downloadable Bigfoot vocalizations are only $9.95. If you're willing to spend a few bucks then discuss the issue further I'd be happy to participate. (I won't share copyrighted info to Morehead's financial detriment because I appreciate what he's done)

I don't want to argue, debate, chat or trade insults with otherwise friendly folks who'll never see the proof in their living rooms (and, they'll never do field research) mainly because they're taking steps to see that they're never forced to question their belief in God and Govt.

For years it was safe to deny the existence of mountain gorillas and pandas because naysayers had "never seen the proof", and "Omniscient, Big Daddy Govt hasn't confirmed their existence" For many never being proven wrong is the priority, not learning the truth that will throw their "invisible man in the sky" (thanx to George Carlin) beliefs into serious doubt.

link

So, you see, I have good reason not to spoon feed info to those who can readily access it, but have failed to do so. And because this seemed to disappoint you, I question whether you simply wanted to argue with shoot-from-the-hip replies, that require you to validate nothing. (One scientist who was asked to validate the vocalizations insisted that the recordings were sped-up human voices and that Morehead was trying to trick him. No other possibility existed in his little world, and it such cases it always come down to, "Those people are lying hoaxers!")

If I'm wrong (about you) then please accept my apology in advance. Okay, my friend?
