That's too bad.

Fred, you seem to have a way of alienating people.

NN and Ada Say Farewell

NN and Ada in particular if you are watching...

In the rough and tumble days of the late 90s...

Big mike, a poster living in upstate NY, became unhappy with my postings and stated for all to see that...

"He was coming to PA. and smash my face in". A few urged him on, most, myself included, considered it to be beer talking and let it pass. I did mention I kept a .357, a big dog, the Sheriff was a cuzin, the Judge was my nephew, but feel free to stop by anytime.

Moral to the story????

Over the years, I have offended about every one here at one time or another, in their own way most have thrown bricks my way at one time or another, however,,,,,THIS IS THE ONLY FORUM THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN THROWN OUT OF SINCE THE 90S,,,,

Personally, the only one here that I consider deranged is Turdle, it takes a lot of sufferance to suffer him.

I have enjoyed and annoyed the rest of you.

Cyni...

Got my head scratching on that one, Lod. hehe...

Reading the exchange between Fred and NN, Fred seemed rather harsh.

And I think Christine wasn't too fond of Fred's antics either, if memory serves.

You certainly have annoyed me, Cyni. I freely admit to that, as though an admission was required. But that was also long ago, relating to what seemed to be -- oh hell, let's be more frank --- what WAS and still is a fetish about how Ron Paul is the anti-christ.

LOL!

But I guess I understand you better now and just accept that.

As for how threats should be taken with a grain of salt, that's not the issue for many. Many here just want a place to socialize and have a little fun, talking to people they agree with, and to be berated about what they think by people here takes away the whole point of hanging out. It's not about threats at all. It's about being welcome or ridiculed. And if ridicule is what they come to expect, they just leave. Simple as that.

So I consider it a shame when that happens. And it has happened. And it may be what spells the end of 4um not too long from now.

Thats good, trust me there was never any ill intent.

One thing for sure, I do learn things here, even from that miserable Turdle.

Being very olde, less educated than most, but having gathered wisdom like moss, I do try to read everyone. Even that miserable Turdle.

I can't recall any ridicule here, but there's been lots of spirited teasing, especially of Turtle and his olde shoes and pug fetishes. But, no blood, no foul.

Looking through the history a bit, it seems I may be mistaken as far as Christine goes. Maybe it was Turtle. I know Fred has disagreeable times over at LF.

Most of what I discuss with Turtle is about pugs, and completely non-serious.

Rimjob threw Murf, Phant2000 and myself out in one fell swoop.

Our transgression was the usual, negative posting about jews.

From there it was in and thrown out of several other jew ghettos.

I knew I had hit the jackpot with 4um when I found out Christine was friends with Randy Weaver, this had to be home.

Yep, when Randy was on his gun show, book selling, book signing tour here in Austin he stayed with Christine and her husband. I had the pleasure to join them for breakfast back when. A great guy who only wished to be left alone. For that, his daughter, his stepson, and his dog were murdered...the feds later said that they should have killed them all and burned the place (to destroy the evidence.)

Lon and the guys did a better job in Waco.

I had retired before the Weaver tragedy, from Federal service and already had a dim view of the FBI.

Give any dimbulb a Federal badge and they become a giant in their own mind.

We will soon have all Federal police in the country to protect the minorities, it will be worse than the Gestapo and Kgb combined.

Oh, maybe you directed this at me as well. I only made, I think, 1 post on FR, just to get a brief glimpse of how it worked. I only really learned about FR when Sally came to me about making LP.

I did not get banned.

FR was interesting at the beginning because Rimjob could not throw people out.

He was rather meek in the early days, until he gained power to throw people out and to shake the tree for money. He acquired several lapdogs around himself, life was great.

I caught his goons running a backroom screening process to monitor and attack anyone that had the audacity to post negative about jews. I for a bit was in their little backroom operation watching them send out posters to attack anti semites. It was quite apparent what was going on. One "monitor" said this, "he is here, get blank blank and blank out there and run him off. In this case they used my name.

My understanding was that since FR was founded during the Bill Clinton years, it was okay to bash the president. But once W Bush got in office, the rules then changed. They became much more strick in their posting controls after 9-11, and it was a few months after 9-11 that Sally came to me about creating LP.

The rest is history.

From FR sprang several lookalikes.

The worst time was during the Clinton affair.

Politicians became involved for influence. Do you recall Henry Hyde and his little band of merry men?
