Former Alaska governor blasts Carrier deal as “crony capitalism” and “one big fail”

Two of Donald Trump’s most high profile supporters may already be regretting their decision.

Both Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin criticized the president-elect on Friday, following months of staunchly supporting his election.

“Sounds like the big sell-out is coming. Oh well. The voters did what we could,” Coulter tweeted Friday. “If Trump sells out, it’s not our fault.”

Coulter appears to be angry over Trump backing off his campaign promise to build a wall around the United States as part of his immigration policy.

Instead, vice president-elect Mike Pence stated he and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan would be the ones spearheading immigration.

Coulter also expressed displeasure at Trump’s pick of South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, a Republican who had publicly criticized Trump, as the next UN Ambassador.

“After Nikki Haley, I expect @realDonaldTrump’s next cabinet pick to be Obama,” she said on Twitter. “Both used State of Union address this year to attack Trump.”

Reality sets in. Anyone who expects Trump to be a saviour against all evils is not and never was realistic. He'll never have 80% approval ratings, and the only person who will be happy with all his decisions is Trump himself.

I'm still thankful Hillary lost, as all Trump supporters should be.

Wasn't Palin being considered for a cabinet job just this week?

=========================================

There were two choices: Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.

I've not met one Trump supporter yet who considered him anywhere near a 'savrious against all eveils.'

Not one.

Have you?

For the VA possibly. She'd be in over her head and should stick to reality TV.

===============================

True. She's in over her (neocon) head on this one too.

She tries to make excuses for 'free market' not being able to control the market when we know the market is already controlled by neocon globalists.

Another source quoting her typical neocon 'free market' comeback on this deal:

A business, Palin said, must retain the "freedom to locate where it wishes," and the company makes a mistake, like the "marketing mistake that perhaps Carrier executives made" by threatening to move for the sake of efficiency, then the market's "invisible hand" will punish it.

But that means the business must assume it's on a "level playing field" and operating without government interference, she said, as special interests could manipulate markets.

"We support competition on a level playing field, remember?" she said of Republicans. "We know special interest crony capitalism is one big fail. Politicians picking and choosing recipients of corporate welfare is railed against by fiscal conservatives, for it's a hallmark of corruption. And socialism."

It was the cities, counties, and states that started this tax-incentive crap in the first place. Of course, businesses and companies will respond to these carrots.

Some of y'all are impatient. Can't turn it all around overnite. Look at it this way: what Trump has done is bought us some time. Take advantage of it while you can, because those fuckers aren 't going away until they get their war.

These two insiders cannot be surprised by politics as usual. (Nor should the average voodoo voter !)

Voting these days is condoning evil in the hopes of restoring good.

It's all we have to go on right now.

Trump is on many target lists, especially neocon target lists who stand to lose trillions of dollars in greed money if Trump gets even 25% of what he has promised to bring back to the USA.

no...

I would disagree on that.

Why???

Because I see NO strings on Trump. None.

He is a 70 year olde non virgin, politics and business wise.

I suspect everyone in the cabinet, good or bad, will understand that bullshit stops at the Oval office door.

Truman was that kind, he had the balls to fire MacArthur, no one else would have ever done that.

That's my take also.
