What could you do with 90 million dollars?

In less than two weeks, the Obama family will take their final taxpayer-funded vacation to Hawaii. By the time they return to Washington, they will have spent about 90 million dollars on vacations.

Tell me. How many of you could spend 90 million dollars on eight years’ worth of vacations?

What could you do with that kind of money?

Thanks to the Obama economy, there are 95 million Americans no longer in the labor force.

But what do those people matter to the Obamas? Not when there are lavish vacations to be had.

The Obamas have taken advantage of us for eight years.

While they lectured us about having “skin in the game” and “paying our fair share,” they’ve been living off of us like parasites.

It’s shameful really.

But these people have no shame.

Barack Obama just told Rolling Stone that the first thing he would do after he left the White House was take Michelle on a “well-deserved vacation.”

So why fly to Hawaii for two and a half weeks a month before he leaves office?

Why?

Because we’re footing the bill.

And these opportunistic parasites aren’t going to pass up one final taxpayer-funded blow-out.

90 million dollars.

That’s an obscene amount of money to bilk from the American taxpayers just to play golf in Palm Springs or Florida or two weeks in Martha’s Vineyard, or shopping in Paris. Or paradise holidays in Hawaii.

These people have no shame. None.

I don’t care how rich people spend their own money. It’s their money. They earned it. If they want to spend three months out of the year vacationing, I don’t care.

But the Obamas are rich people who are spending our money. On golf outings, African safaris, two weeks a year in Martha’s Vineyard, two weeks a year in Hawaii.

They’ve lived like royalty while we pick up the tab.

People like you and I pick up the tab.

And we’ll never be rid of the burden of footing the bill for the Obamas.

When they leave the White House, odds are they will profit from Barack’s time as president and become even more fabulously wealthy. Despite that, they will continue to receive an annual paycheck courtesy of you and me thanks to the 1958 “Former Presidents Act.”

I said back in March, this “Former Presidents Act” needs to be revised to read:
“Any President who leaves office earning less than $250,000 a year will receive a pension and expenditures. Every other President can suck it up, pay their own way or go pound sand.”

Knowing that Barack Obama wasted 90 million dollars of our money on his lavish, royal lifestyle while in office, I’d include this caveat to the revised Act:
“Any President who uses millions of dollars of taxpayer money on vacations and golf outings will have his Former President’s pay garnished until he has paid back that money to the American people.”

Of course Barack Obama would have to live to the ripe old age of 250 to finally pay us back.

Hat tip Judicial Watch.

Secret Service Lodging Cost Over $1 Million Alone

(Washington DC)—Judicial Watch announced today that it obtained records from the U.S. Secret Service revealing that its travel expenses for the First Family’s 2015 Hawaiian vacation cost taxpayers $1.2 million, which bring the total cost of the vacation trip to at least $4.8 million. This was the Obamas’ eighth Hawaiian family vacation. The trip has become an annual event for the Obamas. To date, Obama’s and his family’s travel expenses total at least $85,029,819.

The records obtained by Judicial Watch for Obama’s Secret Service travel to Hawaii reveal the following expenses totaling $1,234,316.67:

  • Hotel and lodging costs totaled $1,000,458.63
  • The Secret Service spent $165,893.88 on car rentals.
  • Air and rail expenses totaled $67,964.16.

Although the vacation officially lasted from December 18, 2015, to January 3, 2016, the Secret Service rented several Kailua homes for 19 nights, starting from December 16.  The total for the rentals, located near the Marine Corps base at Kaneohe Bay was $245,993.12.  According to bills obtained by Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Secret Service also paid for rooms at the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki and Golf Club.  The Secret Service also reserved rooms at the Moana Surfrider resort on Waikiki Beach, and the Ala Moana Hotel, which cost a total of $40,249.48 and $671,895.99, respectively.

The Secret Service rented cars from Avis, Alamo, and Hertz – 103 cars for the two-week vacation, totaling $165,893.88 in taxpayer money.

Reportedly, the Obamas stayed at the Hale Reena Estate, which “rents for anywhere between $5,000 to $10,000 a night, depending on the season.”

According to other news sources, the Obamas dined out frequently (and were guarded) at Hawaii’s finest restaurants:

The president played seven rounds of golf, went hiking and snorkeling.

Judicial Watch filed a FOIA request for these documents in January 2016.  The records were released in response to a FOIA lawsuit filed on May 6, 2016, (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Homeland Security (No. 1:16-cv-00863)).  The lawsuit was filed after the Secret Service ignored a series of separate FOIA requests for costs associated with the president’s travel.

“The Secret Service and the Air Force are being abused by unnecessary travel,” said Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton.  “Unnecessary presidential travel for fundraising and luxury vacations on the taxpayers’ dime would be a good target for reform for the incoming Trump administration.”

This Is Where The Obamas Are Staying For Christmas

And we're officially jealous.

12/22/2015 03:26 pm ET | Updated Dec 22, 2015

The Obamas arrived for their annual Christmas vacation in Kailua on Saturday, settling into the laid-back beach town on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. If you're unfamiliar, the place is basically a paradise within a paradise.

With crystal-clear water and some of the softest sand your feet will ever touch, it's easy to see why the Obamas have chosen to rent a holiday home in this neighborhood for eight straight years.

Now that POTUS and the family have taken up residence in their tropical palace, let's take a look inside, shall we?

The Back-Up Plan That Works Every Time

David Dunham

This Asian-inspired, oceanfront estate became the Obamas' holiday home when their first-choice rental (which is only a few doors down) wasn't available in 2011 and again in 2012. But the Obamas loved this property, known as the Hale Reena Estate, so much that they've stayed there every year since.

It's hard not to love, with an open floor plan, a tropical lagoon in the home's entryway, and the ocean view.

The Winter White House

The Obamas's first rental choice -- where they stayed in 2009 and 2010 -- is arguably even more impressive.

The Plantation Estate, unofficially known as the "Winter White House," opens up to a lagoon-style pool in the front courtyard with cascading waterfalls and a lavish heated spa.

The interior of the home is a perfect mixture of old Hawaii and modern elegance, with a kitchen and dining room that opens up to the living room, both rooms accented with stylish chandeliers. But who really stays indoors while vacationing in Hawaii? The backyard is decorated with the perfect accessory: a tropical beach.

The Winter White House rents for anywhere between $5,000 to $10,000 a night, depending on the season, and has been known to attract other famous clientele, including Angeline Jolie, Bradley Cooper and Emily Blunt, according to Glenn Weinberg, the estate's owner.

Where It All Began

In August 2008, while Obama was running for president, he and his extended family stayed at this massive 10-suite beachfront estate, complete with six pools (one of which is indoors), cathedral ceilings and giant windows to remind you that Kailua Bay, in all its perfection, is only a few steps away.

Almost every suite in this villa, known as the Oahu Lani, comes with its own private patio and bathrooms complete with lavish soaking tubs, in case the multiple pools and white sand beach isn't enough.

Since election day was coming up during Obama's summer stay, Ron Dennis, the property's former caretaker, had to disconnect all 17 of the estate's phones because people were calling for the candidate 24-hours a day.

"But the family was great and Obama was an excellent guest," Dennis told The Huffington Post.

Rates for this gigantic palace ran between $5,200 to $7,500 a night. The property has since been sold to a new owner and is currently under renovations.

Thank God that the first grifters will soon enough be gone.

You have forgotten one thing. Congress could have stopped this IF they wanted.
