White House Petition Calls for Madonna to Be Arrested and Charged with Felony

Scott Kesterson, the president of The American Brand, launched a petition on WhiteHouse.gov to have Madonna charged with Class E felony for threatening to blow up the White House.

On Saturday Madonna told a large audience of mostly anti-Trump women in pussy hats that she has thought about blowing up the White House.

The America Brand is a 501c4 conservative think tank leveraging Special Operations community veterans and subject matter experts to advance the understanding and fight against the information and economic war waged by the left and global elites against the United States and its citizens.

The petition on WhiteHouse.gov calls for Madonna to be charged with a Class E felony for her comments made at Saturday’s women’s rally.

Her actions need to be held to account.

Here is the link.

Having listened to it just now, I don't think any prosecution is warranted. There is a right to free speech and she issued no threat.

One of Trump's weakest points is civil rights. Perhaps it's THE weakest. He doesn't -- can't -- empathize with people who are forced to work with an unjust political system. Of course he has, but he's also had the resources to take matters to court and sue and do whatever it takes to get his way, which is something common people like us don't have and have never had.

Don't encourage him to fire up the DOJ, as I suspect he'll be doing that more than any of us on 4um have a stomach for over the coming years.

Remember the movie "Independence Day" which ended up with the White House being blown up by outer space aliens? In most movie houses the audience cheered.

I haven't seen the new one. The original was so long ago and about all I remember of it was thinking afterwards it was a lame movie.

I do remember Jack Nickolson's appeal to the American public as president in "Mars Attacks". Congress was wiped out but we still had a president and supreme court, and "Two out of three ain't bad!".

Progressives by and large agree with the Madonnas of the world and by and large do not relate to what Trump is trying to do.

progressives and libertarians

I think Libertarians certainly do favor Trump cutting spending which I think he will do, but would be opposed to strong arm enforcement of drug laws and any other laws that pertain to victimless crimes, particularly with laws that relate to marijuana in states that have legalized it. Not sure how Trump will come down on that.

LoL

I know 3 Libertarians. All three are pot heads.

I don't see that as being a major priority on Trump's attack list (victimless crimes)

There's a fine line there also when it comes to drug running, the Mexican cartel is ALWAYS, always either in the dead center of it or very close to it.

I agree that is not or at least shouldn't be a crime. And, thinking about doing something a far cry from doing it.

She even said immediately afterwards that she knows it would accomplish nothing. If that's not a discouragement of the act, then what is?

We're dealing with mass hysteria over Trump and the instigators of that hysteria is the MSM. They promoted it during the campaign, and they are still doing it.

But those who are pro-Trump should not also board the hysteria bus in response. And suggesting Madonna be prosecuted is just that.

Dr. Lillian Glass Shows How Madonna’s Body Language and Speech Was No Metaphor Literally About “Blowing Up White House”
https://drlillianglassbodylanguageblog.wordpress.com/2017/01/23/dr-lillian-glass-shows-how-madonnas-body-language-and-speech-was-no-metaphor-literally-about-blowing-up-white-house/

Quote
At the Women’s March in Washington DC Madonna said she “thought of Blowing up the White House.” As a result the Secret Service is allegedly investigating her. Potentially, she could be faced with a serious crime. Being well aware of this, Madonna tried to backtrack the next day, stating that it was just a “metaphor.”. But it is too little too late! In my view after examining Madonna’s body language and speech pattern,  that she  was NOT speaking figuratively. Instead she  was speaking literally. She made a direct statement.

According to the dictionary, a Metaphor is a figure of speech which makes an implicit, implied or hidden comparison between two things that are unrelated but share some common characteristics. In Madonna’s speech there was no comparison.

Body language wise  and voice wise  and speech wise she spoke in anger. She even literally  said” I am angry.” You can see the anger in her face. Her upper lip is raised and her face widens around her cheek area.

Madonna was serious. Just look at the video. You can tell there is anger in her voice.

I'm not going to start advocating the prosecution of thought crimes. I didn't like it when the gov started doing so before, and won't do it now. Free speech isn't just for when you agree with what people say.

And it's entirely possible Madonna simply doesn't know the proper meaning of the term "metaphor".

I agree and could not state it better.
