Published on Sep 21, 2017 Thursday at a Congressional Black Caucus town hall on civil rights, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) encouraged members of Black Lives Matter to get involved in politics and run for office because African Americans better get controversial and not be afraid to play the race card.
Waters said, Lets work with people who have the passion and you want to do it and to understand how important it is. There are plenty of them in our community but guess what? We dont associate with them because we think they are too controversial. Black people, you better get controversial. You better be controversial. You had better call it like it is. We have been shut down because others have defined us. When they said to us about 10, 15 years ago, oh, shes playing the race card. You should say yeah, and Ive got a lot more Im going to play.
Dont run away from it, she continued. Thats what happens. We stop calling a racist a racist because they said that thats all you do. You dont do anything else. Dont let these people intimidate or scare you. Youve got to get in the fight, and youve got to be in the fight to make some sacrifices, to understand when youre winning, to continue to work, come to make things happen. And I want to tell you, it is time to take off the handcuffs. Its time to get in it. Its time to call it like it is.
When I worked the concerts, there was a black girl on the crew. She was a Chicago cop. I saw her cuff someone so fast one time it would make your head spin. She was a tough cookie and you didn't mess with her, since if you did you would regret it. ;)

In October 2012, Jackson was investigated for financial improprieties including misuse of campaign funds. Jackson resigned from Congress on November 21, 2012, citing mental and physical health problems, including bipolar disorder and gastrointestinal problems. On February 8, 2013, Jackson admitted to violating federal campaign law by using campaign funds to make personal purchases.[3] Jackson pleaded guilty on February 20, 2013, to one count of wire and mail fraud.[4] On August 14, 2013, he was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison. As much as it pains me to say it,Mad Maxine is right. Playing the race card is what got so many blacks "retired in place without ever having to work for it". White Guilt is what works for them, and the day they stop playing that card is the day they start losing.

Some of those young people in BLM might make a good elected official?
The ONLY thing anybody involved in BLM will ever be good for is mobile pop-up targets.

With the exception of Whites, the rule among the peoples of the world, whether residing in their homelands or settled in Western democracies, is ethnocentrism and moral particularism: they stick together and good means what is good for their ethnic group." -Alex Kurtagic
