Difficult to understand how one might profess total obedience to Christ, yet deny his tenets?
Christ over and over tells to us OBEY those over us, to pray for government.
The "government and society" have decided there are certain social rituals that show allegiance.
I have a friend that is atheist, that does not stop him from standing during the pledge. He lives here, he is a part of the social order that appreciates our society.

Trump said NFL players who disrespect the flag are “ruining the game.”

And he’s right: NFL ratings have tanked, coinciding with the protests led by unemployed quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who refuses to stand during the national anthem. Other NFL players have since joined in the protest.

The anti-American demonstrations have had dire consequences on both the National Football League and the networks that carry NFL games. Attendance at this week’s game featuring Kaepernick’s old team, the San Francisco 49ers, showed an almost-empty stadium.

Many fans have started boycotting the NFL in response to players dissing the Star-Spangled Banner.

Several NASCAR team owners said Sunday they would not condone racers protesting during the national anthem, amid protests by sports players at football and baseball games.

There were no protests reported during “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in New Hampshire, according to The Associated Press.

Former NASCAR champion Richard Petty told the AP that any member of his team would be fired if they chose to protest the national anthem. Petty now owns Richard Petty Motorsports.

"The niggers are at a point where they feel strong enough to bite the hand that feeds them. They have no problems showing Whitey just how much they despise him. They are encouraged to do so by a media that hates White America also. The national anthem protest may have started off as a protest against perceived "racism", but it has fully morphed into open hatred for White people. We've opened our homes to these sports franchises and put nigger athletes on a pedestal and act as if their thoughts matter. And we've found out that they are stupid violent savages that contribute nothing of value to society. In fact they ruin society and civilization.
So, it's time for sports obsessed White Americans to put down the remote control, cancel their cable subscriptions, and stop following college and professional sports, as if it matters. It doesn't. It's nothing but a huge waste of time and money. And it's making everyone miserable."
