Do you have a farmers spirit, but a city-dwellers acreage
er, square footage? Something as simple as choosing the right fruits and veggies can make a massive difference in how much you can produce.
Even if an apartment or a duplex, you can still grow enough delicious fruit and vegetables to offset a significant chunk of (if not most of) your produce budget.
There are actually many ways for you to develop a robust garden filled with food. For example, you can turn your balcony or patio into a container garden thats filled with goodies.
Some plants can also be grown indoors. All it takes is a little ingenuity and know-how to get started.

1. Spinach
Does your balcony have a lot of shade? Or are you trying to grow plants from inside your apartment? Spinach can be a good option because it doesnt require a lot of direct sunlight. This nutritious leafy green vegetable is also very easy to grow!
Simply plant your seeds, keep the spinach in a cooler climate, water occasionally and be prepared to harvest the results in four to six weeks. Spinach plants are relatively small and dont require a lot of space, so almost everyone should have enough room to grow at least one of them at home.
