Carter Page graduated from the US Naval Academy. He served as a naval intelligence officer. The dodgy dossier was used to get a FISA warrant to spy on him. The dossier claimed he made $11 billion in profit from a sale of a Russian company. In 2016 he was a Confidential Informant who worked for the FBI to spy on a Russian agent who was later convicted.
