According to the Tampa Bay Times, the official number of people who used their tickets to enter the game was 974. It's hard to believe that many actually entered the ballpark based on pictures from Guaranteed Rate Field. The actual paid attendance for the game was 10,377.

When I work for State of Illinois, the time keeper's name was Dewey Robinson. His kid had the same name and he was playing ball for the White Sox.
The girls were calling the old man wanting to sleep with his kid. Now who would be dumb enough to think the ball player would be listed in the phone book?
