Howard

Good morning Canth, Bundy and Ziad

How long can Syria continue to contain Jewish arrogance and nonsense? They attack Syria at will, killing Syrian soldiers all the time.

I feel sick anytime I read this. Russia should protect it’s allies isn’t it? So what’s going on?

Canthama tell me. Syria is suffering too much. When can Syria move against this mass murder?

Canthama

Not happening anytime soon. The priority is clear by the Syrian Government, to recover every inch of Syria (Golan Heights last), rebuild the country’s infra structure and unity. As Russia-Syria alliance continues, there is a greater chance for the Golan Heights occupation to be solved in some sort of political way (still can not believe Israel would freely do it), but there seems to be possible window of opportunities in years to come when Israel suffers further isolation, its apartheid regime is getting visible and with the decrease of influence of the US globally, more exposed will be Israel.

Regarding Israeli attacks, the Syrian Government and its allies will get their payback, none of the attacks are causing a lot of damages and loses, but sometimes, unfortunately it causes Syrian soldiers to be killed, last night 5 KIAs. There is no doubt for me that there will be payback for all the Israelis attacks to Syria, by now the focus is only one, liberate the south and annihilate Israeli’s allies, ISIS and al Qaeda.

Bundy☭

There is always retaliation of one kind or another.. Its never free. If big brother is beating you up, the best way to get back is to smash the little brother to a pulp especially if its the little illegitimate brother no one acknowledge.

Syria has suffered, But look at it this way, for over $100 billion they have spent, what have they got? None of their goals have been met. It has also made Syria and Hezbollah and Iran far stronger than before. It has turned Syria into a battle ground that all Syrians play in. And like all games that has costs, the price is high. But it has also cleansed the terrorists and fundamentalists from the country that was always a festering boil waiting to erupt. A much simpler conflict like india/pakistan cost like 4 million lives. The balkans and armenian genocide, the greek and other displacements have cost millions of lives. The society will be much stronger and cohesive.

You never want to pay this price.. But once you pay it, you end up with a far stronger society. As we saw Assad is now going for reconstruction and fighting corruption and such things. I think in 5 years we will see far more modern and safer society than before.Problems like this will also come to Turkey and other countries even though Turkey itself has cleansed many of the problems. But they are just asking for it.

I also expect Syria to get back the Golan heights in 5 years. Once Syria starts recovering I expect them to face Israel head on. I expect Syrians take up the slogan every inch.. And not just the SAA as it is currently..

Canthama

Bundy, very good post, well thought out. I do concur the end for Syria is a modern country, open for foreign investments (from allies only) and with a healed and united society.

anti_republocrat

I agree with C, a very good post. The only thing I would point out is that the goals of the US MIC have indeed been met: (corporate) profits, promotions (for MIC employees) and pork (for Congressional districts). In the final analysis, those are the only goals that matter.

Pacificnorthwest

@Bundy I second Canthema and AR, nicely analyzed.

@AR. Agree that the primary goal for the MIC is ensuring robust continuing revenue streams and the profit in them. However… important an actor as it may be the MIC is not the only actor in this drama.

Other actors such as the Zionists had other, for them more important goals in addition to the generation of profit and consolidation of power in the system.

The Oded Yinon Plan, died a painful death in Syria… which is perhaps why the zionists keep their focus on massacring unarmed civilians in the concentration camps they control in occupied Palestine.

This is becoming a great victory for Syria and for all of humanity. I know the war us not over yet, but the defeat of the coalition of jackals is becoming self-evidently manifest.

Tatarewicz

Not a total loss for the the Zionists. They got a ten-year extension on their squatting “rights” in Palestine just as with Afghanistan where the Arab fighters-in-training would long ago have ousted these criminals from the ME had US not intervened.

Syria intends to take back the Golan and it should -- but how can it? The only way I can see is if Izrul's reputation sinks so low they don't dare bomb -- but since they're made of chutzpah, hard to feature.

Just imagine.... a domino effect of all those countries and peoples getting their land back, driving the Chosen into the Mediterranean.

Imagine there's no there's no Clintons / It's not too hard to do / No Is-ra-el, Nobamas / and not a single jew.....

Bringing you democracy, or else! there were strains of VD that were incurable, and they were first found in the Philippines and then transmitted to the Korean working girls via US military. The 'incurables' we were told were first taken back to a military hospital in the Philippines to quietly die. – 4um

Forgot to add:

Assad has indeed been criticized for not acting with more force at the beginning, as his father would have done and as Putin did with Chechnya. One of his biggest mistakes was acquiescing to Western demands that he release political prisoners. Some of them subsequently became leaders of the rebellion, and he was then accused of encouraging the terrorists as opposed to the FSA, in an effort to set himself up as the lesser of two evils. Standard Western damned if you do and damned if you don’t technique. He was a thug and human rights violator as long as he held them in detention. After he released them he was accused of being either weak or having done a deal with the devil.

The flip side of the coin is the success with reconciliation.

Comment: PhD would hardly be expected to deal with opposition the way Israeli-serving thugs are doing in DC or even in the case of Putin.
