The people of CA have brought this on themselves. They elected the people that allowed this. I lived in CA form 1975 until 1987: I saw the start of the decline then. Tax the people give them what they wanted. The death blow was Porp 13, in the mid 1970's. I know people living in CA, in $300,000 homes and paying less that $5,000 in prop taxes

How much in property taxes do you think people need to pay?

You know that if you do not pay the King his due, they will sell your house at auction on the Court House steps for the amount of taxes you failed to pay. ;)

And oddly enough, the most likely buyer will be a contractor that has connections to the local and state government, who wants to build welfare housing under government contract for Dim voters to live in.

Funny how that works,ain't it?

And what is the contractor going to do with the house? Tear it down or split it into smaller units that can be rented out under government assisted rental programs such as operates in Chicago area? ;)
