I had an account on Fox News that let me comment on various articles, and it's apparently been closed down. I was sticking up for Kavanaugh so that wasn't it. I'm guessing it was because I was also sticking up for Iran & Syria. I think the most recent post was one where I responded to someone who said Iran should be attacked because they were interfering in Syria. I responded that that was on different than what the US is doing.

One or two weeks ago I posted a detailed response that international inspectors found no evidence of a chem attack in Douma. It disappeared 3 times as I kept reposting it -- I happened to have a copy of it. I finally posted a protest about my post being deleted underscoring the raw fact of the international conclusion, which seemed to stay. So I'm guessing not being a war hawk is what got me the ax, and my defense of Kavanaugh was simply not enough to make up for it.

It's probably better for me anyway as I've probably spent too much time on it.

Huh! I didn't know that fox had a commentary feature. They lost a good contributor if they whacked your account...

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken

Yes, they do. On their bigger articles, if you scroll to the bottom, you'll usually see a commentary section open up. Less important articles won't have them, or if it's a sensitive thing that might bring up racial commentary, the won't have it. But it's a new hot article, it gets many dozens, maybe upwards of a hundred posts every minute. A lot of it is stupid troll stuff but some commentary is thoughtful.

Yeah, I'm of the mind that this Ford character probably really was attacked in the manner she claims, but that it was not Kavanaugh who did it. She's not lying though. I think she either mistook Kavanaugh as the attacker as she didn't know him very well and the attacker happened to look similar to Kavanaugh, OR over the course of 30+ years, she created a false memory of it being him which she sincerely believes is true. Probably a combo of both. It would be an awesome show of fireworks if some guy came forward and confessed to being the actual guy who attacked Ford and exonerated both of them. Of course quite unlikely, but it would destroy so many broadcasting the Left's narrative.

The human ability to create false memories is well documented in more recent publicized findings. It would explain both Ford's seemingly passionate insistance of her account and the failure of her witnesses to back her up, AND Kavanough's passionate and thorough denial that he has ever acted like this, as well as his extremely widespread support of character witnesses that affirm Kavanaugh's highly respectful & honorable nature.

This new accuser, however, discussing the college incident, seems to be crafted to incriminate Kavanaugh while also giving the accuser an "I was very drunk" out in the event it's disproven. Who the hell needs to think about something for 6 days before they are sure of a memory where some guy thrusted his penis in her face? And a woman at that! (Though I'm sure any normal guy would also have an impossible time of forgetting something like that). So seems opportunistic to me.

I've echoed that sentiment on Fox of late, but I guess bombing Iran, promoting war & exonerating Israel for killing 14-15 Russians is just a higher priority for them right now.

Oh well. RT.com also has commentary. I guess I'll go join the Russians and post on their site instead.

Yeah embedded stuff because they couldn't control discuss. I remember the good old days when everyone had q discuss... Then they realized they could control third parties thus the narrative. Fuck em pinguinite . They are fake news too

If Ford's now scrubbed internet claim of boinking 54 guys prior to however many she did in college is correct, she never had to be "assaulted".

No one from her past has substantiated her story or defended her character, while scores of people have attested to Kavanaugh's high moral standards and behavior.

Pubbies have let this hearing turn into the worst circus I've ever witnessed.
