Great, great stuff. I'll always remember the first time I saw a metallic blue Cobra down here parked on the Drag (Guadalupe Street) in the fall of 1965.

Something that hits so hard that you never forget it.

Ford horsepower + beefed-up small English car chassis = ultimate hotrod

It was a visceral toss-up that freshman year whether the Cobra or Farah Fawcett was the hottest..

(Not that I was able to test drive either one)

Haha!!! In hindsight, you would have got WAY more mileage from the Cobra :)

P.S. a former manager of mine went to UT at the same time as F.F. - said he watched her walk across broken glass/hot coals/something (it's been over 30 years) in some sort of college campus nonsense.

The 2003/2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra was a killer - watch the speedometer on the left wind around without slowing down:

I've always liked the smaller CID engines (283, 289, et al) that are tweaked to the max, instead of the huge-block engines...just as I like using the smallest caliber possible (.222 or .270 or .204) for hunting most anything here in TX or in North America for that matter.
