Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. – aiming to energize Democrats and raise money for the party – vowed to fight back "with a vengeance" after a contentious public meeting with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, The Hill reported.

In a fundraising email blast sent Thursday, Pelosi, who with Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., wrangled with Trump in a televised sitdown Tuesday, declared "never in my life have I backed down from a fight."

"Which is why, after President Trump just threatened to shut down the government over his immoral border wall, tried to blame a shutdown on our Democrats, and continues to mislead the American people, I'm fighting back with a vengeance — and personally triple-matching all Democratic Membership renewals until midnight to make sure we stop him and his Republicans' disastrous shutdown," said Pelosi, who is expected to be elected House Speaker in the next Congress,The Hill reported.

Pelosi said in her email she has received membership renewals from 62,748 Democrats so far, The Hill reported.

Pelosi and Schumer met with Trump to discuss government funding, but the meeting quickly devolved into a fight over Trump's promised border wall and his $5 billion demand to fund it. There is still no agreement over border wall funding or a larger government spending bill.

Poster Comment:

Received renewals from 62,748 deluded souls? People like Pelousy and Schumer have no grasp that the Dim party is corrupt beyond measure. Maybe they can get some of those on Billary's Facebook page to re-up.

Not to mention that when #Spygate hits, Obummer may just be indicted for his role in bugging Trump's campaign HQ in NYC. And if he is convicted he will lose his pension from 8 years as POTUS. Then it will be back to Kenya for him.

It costs nothing to belong to any party, just check the box.

I was working for the Republican Committeeman in Chicago for the 40th ward. One day I was walking past his office and he waved me in. He asked if I was working. I told him no. He said, "The I will get you a job. Just go down to the Secretary of State office and get your license to drive a truck." He told me I could rent a truck for half a day at the rental place and drive up there to take the road test. Then he said, "After you get your license you can go to State of Illinois building and take the test for Highway Maintainer."

I did as he asked and when I went to take the test there were a lot of black guys there taking it. Many of them were scratching their heads. It was a common sense test. I was 3rd or 4th to finish. I had to get an "A" on the test to pass. A few weeks later I got my letter of appointment in the mail. I was to be assigned to Northbrook yard and I should present the letter to the yard engineer when I got there. I needed steel toe boots in order to work there. I got those with no problem.

When I got to the yard, the Engineer was not there so I gave the letter to the Lead, Lead Worker. He read it and said, "We haven't had a Probation here in 3 years."

I was assigned to the general maintenance crew at first. We did odd jobs like filling pot holes and spraying Linseed oil on bridge walls and cleaning bridge bearings and painting them with this Aluminum paint. The paint came with a glob of shaved aluminum in a pan on top and we had to mix it in to paint the bridge bearings.

One time the foreman was walking under the bridge. He was not paying attention and he bumped his head on the lip of in I-beam as he was walking along under the bridge. He was lucky he didn't get knocked out.

One time we were on that operation and I was off a day. When I came back the guys on the crew told me about some kids building a club house under one of the bridges. So one of the guys drove me up there so I could see it.

When we got there I walked under the bridge and you could see where they built it with wood between the I-beams. I got up close to it and could hear some talking going on. So I pushed on the hatch. It opened up and I stuck my head up there. Two little girlies were in there smoking weed. They were a bit startled and said, "Who are you?" I said, "I'm the bridge inspector. This can't be allowed. It causes undue lateral stress on the I-beams. I'll have to report it." They said, "Oh, don't report us. We'll do anything as long as you don't report us."

The game was on then. ROTFLOL
