Ted Cruz to Newsmax TV: Border Crisis Getting Worse

(Newsmax TV's "The Chris Salcedo Show")

By Theodore Bunker | Thursday, 13 June 2019 12:08 PM

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, told Newsmax TV on Thursday the United States has "a crisis at the border and it is getting worse," because of legal loopholes.

Cruz said in an interview on Newsmax TV's "The Chris Salcedo Show" on Thursday morning, "we have a crisis at the border, and it is getting worse each and every day. And much of this crisis is caused by the loopholes that Congress has put into the law last month."

He went on to say "140,000 people apprehended in one single month . . . that puts us on a rate of nearly two million people crossing illegally and being apprehended over the next 12 months. That is greater than we've ever seen, and it is overwhelming the capacity of Texas."

"When I'm down at the border, when I meet with with local mayors, judges, sheriffs, and police chiefs, they are consistently telling me that that this volume is so great it's too much for them to handle, that they don't have the capacity to handle it, that they've never seen this before, and that they need help."

The senator added later the "problem is real simple: congressional Democrats, and I'm not going to put too fine a point on it, they don't give a damn. They're not willing to do anything."

Cruz went on to blame House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., saying, under her, the House "blocks, refuses to take up, anything that would actually secure the border."

It is time for a call to arms. Every law abiding citizen who can, should arm themselves to repel this invasion by camping out on the border and turn them all away by force if necessary. If their countries are so bad then perhaps we should be invading them and liberating them so they will stay in their home countries.

The Mexicans they have caught more than once are saying, "There are no jobs and no money in Mexico". So what would we do if we did invade? If you are member of a Mariachi band or can sell tortillas stuffed with the many ingredients or happen to be working in a factory where so much of what we consume is being made there (York Peppermint Patties are one), then you have it made.

But so many of these migrants have come from Central America. And Mexico has built walls on their southern border trying to keep them out. ;)
