This title is an out-of-context distortion but the video at least shows what he really said and meant @ 8:50-20:08.
@ 12:39, he says, "I don't think you people with this phony Emoluments Clause" after speaking about President Washington having a Presidential desk and a business desk. He did not say that the Constitution was phony, as the MSNBC title misclaimed. He did not say that any one of the 3 different Emoluments Clauses within 2 different sections of the Constitution was phony, as the Fox News title blurringly misreported. He was addressing particular people with a phony Emoluments Clause interpretation. To become President, his businesses were put in trust. He explained that in the Fox News video and that he didn't need to promote the Doral property in Florida. Having the G-7 summit there would have been cost-free for America - unlike France, for instance, where it cost the nation many millions monetarily.

I've been critical on Trump sometimes, but on this score, he's being maligned by the D's as is usual.
While it may be technically true that hosting the summit at his private resort would violate the Emoluments clause, there are a number of factors in his favor.
#1) No secret was made of the plans, the public and Congress could weigh in on it, and it was cancelled. That it was cancelled renders any accusations moot since no financial profit can be realized.
#2) Trump had previously stated that the hosting would be done "at cost" to cover expenses with no profit to his resort.
#3) I listened to MSNBC quote Trump supposedly trashing the Emuluments clause, my take from it was the context was only that he was trashing the accusation or interpretation of his violating it, not the clause itself.
All in all, Trump is just trying to get his job done, and he's being hassled on this just like everything else he tries to do. Again, I've been critical of some of his actions in the past, mainly to do with foreign policy related to Syria. But on this score, this is just the MSM and the D party hassling him for stuff they do all. the. time.

Remember that THEY can and do indict ham sandwiches. Their entire system is built and predicated on the presumption that a “person” is guilty until proven innocent. And it is hard to prove innocence.

Remember that Field McConnell is a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel in his seventies — Vietnam Era, and that these charges, whatever they are, are said to stems from things that happened in the 1970’s — Ollie North Era.
Remember that a lot of good men, especially pilots, got drawn into CIA and DIA and other plots hatched during the take down in Vietnam and Iran Contra and other illicit “Ops” and also remember that many of those men actually believed — and had reasonable cause to believe — that they were working for our actual government and in the “National Security Interest” when in fact they were being ordered and/or induced under conditions of deceit to commit crimes.
Remember then, too, that the very Agencies responsible for ensnaring these men into committing crimes in the first place, then hold those same crimes as blackmail over guys like Field. At the Federal level there are two (2) “governments” employed as subcontractors — (1) British Territorial and (2) Roman Papist Municipal.
Both are ultimately controlled by the Pope, but one is indirectly controlled by the Queen and the other is controlled directly as part of the Roman Municipal Government system.
This results in two “Congresses” — staffed by the same people wearing different hats.
It also results in a multiplicity of services of all kinds. There are two or more departments, bureaus, and agencies covering (and charging for) every possible function of government.
There is the actual Department of Defense run by the British Territorial Government, and then, there’s “the DOD” run by the Municipal Government. And there are rivalries between these entities. Competitions. Snake Oil Sales. Separate contracts with various agencies — both foreign agencies and interagency contracts.
This makes for a very complex mix of organizational alliances and at the same time, competitions and oppositions, as all these various groups have somewhat the same and somewhat different motivations. Wherever there is money to be made, you will find two or more of these groups in the bidding, cutting deals in the back rooms, and trying to push each other off the playing field....

When Cornwallis surrendered to Washington on October 19th, 1781, he surrendered the battle, not the war. Under the Articles of Capitulation, the common British soldiers were held in forts, under conditions that they were fed the same as American troops; the officers -- one for every fifty soldiers -- lived nearby to see to their good treatment, while the officers themselves lived in fine quarters in society being served like royalty; the injured were hospitalized and treated, all at the cost of Americans (as usual).
The war had not been formally ended; and in fact, it was nearly six months later -- in March, 1782 -- that the House of Commons finally settled on a resolution to advise the king that the fighting part of the war should end. . . to be continued to this day, under cover, with silent weapons for quiet wars. The resolution failed at that time. Then:
"General Conway in five days after (Feb. 27), brought forward another motion expressed in different words, but to the same effect with that which he had lost by a single vote. This caused a long debate which lasted till two o'clock in the morning. It was then moved to adjourn the debate till the 13th of March.

Thank you for the source links that you provided as to your concerns about the Titles of Nobility Amendment issues of controversy (aka the allegedly Missing 13th Amendment). It's been about 20 years or so since I first noticed that discordant topic online. I still think that it should be among the easier problems of the past for Americans to resolve agreeably -- possibly by trying again to get that Amendment properly ratified; maybe with the lawyerly-specific word "Esquire" included, although I suspect if it was that they'd just stop using it for themselves.
