As we face down the impending threat of a full-on invasion of the United States by Iraq or Iran or whatever, the brave president of America, Donald Trump, is standing tall and has begun ordering the assassination of high-level Iranian military officials.

RT:

US President Donald Trump authorized a US military strike near Baghdad’s airport which resulted in the death of Iran’s Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani, the Pentagon confirmed in a statement on Thursday.

“At the direction of the president, the US military has taken decisive defensive action to protect US personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani,” the Pentagon said in a statement.

“This strike was aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans. The United States will continue to take all necessary action to protect our people and interests wherever they are around the world.”

And where they are is in the middle of Iraq, because… well, because maybe they are protecting democracy or something, who knows.

But whatever the reason we have a bunch of troops stationed in Iraq, it is our sacred duty as Americans to assassinate anyone near them.

The Pentagon said that the assassination was a response to “attacks on coalition bases in Iraq,” accusing Soleimani of being the mastermind behind a recent spate of missile attacks on joint US and Iraqi military installations. In particular, the Pentagon blamed Soleimani for orchestrating the December 27 rocket strike at a US base in Kirkuk that killed one American contractor. It also alleged that he “approved” a siege of the US Embassy in Baghdad that almost ended up in the compound being taken over by protesters, who were furious over US strikes that killed 25 members of Kataib Hezbollah, part of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), over the weekend.

Washington has pinned the blame for the attacks on its embassy in Baghdad squarely on Tehran, with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo accusing “terrorists” and “Iranian proxies” of instigating the unrest.

Tehran, meanwhile, has vehemently denied the accusations that it was somehow complicit in the storming of US diplomatic quarters in the heavily fortified Green Zone, taking aim at Washington’s “audacity” to blame it for the outrage sparked by American airstrikes.

Of course Iran giving approval is the reason people got mad over being bombed.

The normal response to being bombed by America is to simply shrug and say “well, that’s the cost of freedom.” But when you have an Iranian whispering in your ear saying that being bombed by America is bad – well, that’s when the riots start.

Of course, Iraqis and Iranians are both playing the victim, claiming that they didn’t deserve to be bombed.

Iran’s diabolical Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the righteous assassination was bad.

And the Iraqis?

Well, they’re saying that this violated something or other.

RT:

The interim prime minister of Iraq has condemned the US assassination of a senior Iranian commander, calling it an act of aggression against his country. Qassem Soleimani was killed at Baghdad airport.

Soleimani, the commander of the elite Quds Force, was killed after his convoy was hit by US missiles. A deputy commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), the Iraqi militia collective backed by Iran, was killed in the same airstrike.

In a statement on Friday, the caretaker leader of Iraq’s protest-challenged government, Adil Abdul Mahdi, said the US assassination operation was a “flagrant violation of Iraqi sovereignty” and an insult to the dignity of his country.

He stressed that the US had violated the terms under which American troops are allowed to stay in Iraq with the purpose of training Iraqi troops and fighting the jihadist organization Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS). He added that the killing may trigger a major escalation of violence and result in “a devastating war in Iraq” that will spill out into the region.

The Iraqi government has called on the parliament to hold an emergency session to discuss an appropriate response, Mahdi said.

Listen, bub: America is for democracy and freedom, and we’ll bomb whoever we want to bomb, assassinate whoever we feel needs to be assassinated in order to secure democracy in your country.

Obviously, you’re not capable of securing democracy for yourselves, so this leads us to having to bomb and assassinate you.

That’s the price of freedom, and you should be thanking us for bombing your country.

As far as this “sovereignty” business goes – if you were a democracy, you could tell us about sovereignty. Until then, you can sit down, shut up and eat smart bombs. Your whining is only going to lead to more bombings and assassinations. I Can’t Really

I apologize, but I don’t know how to write about this situation with any level of seriousness.

Donald Trump is now just randomly bombing and assassinating people in Iraq, a country that is supposed to be our ally, and claiming that the reason he is doing it is that there are Americans in Iraq.

I actually feel like asking the question “why don’t we just remove the troops from Iraq?” would be personally humiliating to me.

Because the reason the troops are in Iraq is to get attacked so that the US has an excuse to bomb and escalate the situation. I Don’t Really

This is the neocon d-team running things now, and the pacing of this is really all pretty directly tied to the problems that Bibi Netanyahu is facing.

If the US goes to war with Iran, millions of people will die. But the US will lose. And that would be a good thing for all of us.

But it should be clear: what happened just now is an insane escalation of tensions in the region. Iraqis are now going to seriously riot – and it won’t just be the Iranian-sympathizing ones. It will be all of them. Their government is not really particularly stable, at all, and they are going to have to either fold or move to expel US troops.

And the US is probably not going to leave willingly, which means basically, Donald Trump just started a war with Iraq.

President Bone Spur wants a war with Iran by orders of jew land. A war the US will not win. BTW: his children will not be in the military.
