“As president, I have no higher duty than to defend the laws and the Continuation of the United States,” the President continued. “That is why I am determined to protect our election system, which is now under coordinated assault and siege.”
The President added that he was willing to take his case all the way to the Supreme Court to make sure the 2020 election was legitimate and only legal votes counted.
“We’re going to show it and hopefully the courts – in particular, the Supreme Court of the United States – will see it and respectfully, hopefully, will do what’s right for our country,” the President stated.
It remains to be seen if President Trump will prevail at the Supreme Court.
With a new Supreme Court that tilts right thanks to Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation, the President believes he will get a fair hearing.
But his promise to argue his case to the fullest extent of the law will help Americans have confidence in this election, but future elections as well.
Even if the amount of fraud uncovered does not reverse the outcome, Americans deserve to know the level of fraud that took place in this past election so that Congress and state legislatures can pass much needed reforms to tighten up gaps on election security.
