I recently had some property damaged by a hail storm, no one was hurt, thanks for asking.

My car got obviously beaned, so I called InsCo and filed a claim, seems to be going smoothly.

Thank god for my Dad he called me the next morning and told me to get someone out to look at the roof. They cam out today and agreed roof was ganked by hailstorm, insurance put on new roof.

Now if only we could get the FedGov to quit covering people who can afford insurance but choose to go without. Let them live in leaky sewers for all I care.

Here in TX, the insco's have got a "new deal" whereby three claims (whether they pay anything or not) and you're out - thank you, ann richards, you skank.

I lucked out again, inf my current InsCo don't want me, there are plenty that do. They've actually been very nice.

I don't think there should be a law saying that people have to have insurance, but there should be a law saying those that don't and don't have large enough cash reserves are S.O. of L.

As usual, it's government mandated hospitality that drives the product cost beyond reach of the consumer/beneficiary.

Just like medicare did to healthcare.

Just like Medicare Part D wil do to prescription drugs.
