You probably wouldn't have liked being a passenger when I was pilot-in- command.

The first "legal" passenger I had was my mother who had never been in an aircraft before, or after, a long time ago. I wasn't the pilot that day. God had ahold of that Hershey Bar wing so tight, that you couldn't tell you off the ground except for the view. You didn't even get the bump from the wheels spinning up when He landed.

She loved it. RIP.

“The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone.
TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy…
but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone.”

I don't fly any more, not since fedgov took all the fun out of it, and the airlines started treating passengers like rats in steerage. But years ago, even when I had to fly occasionally, the best part of any trip was seeing the airport in the rear view mirror.

From videos I've seen recently, airport terminals have the demographic and cultural ambiance of a Walmart parking lot in Mozambique.
