According to Rock Island Auction's description of the rifle, it fires a 1750 grain bullet at 1350 feet per second. That's a muzzle energy of only 7081 ft lb. Seems pretty low, so I suspect those numbers are wrong?
The .460 Weatherby Magnum produces a ME of 7389 ft lb, and the .50 BMG twice that.

Flatter, further, faster was the Barrett's motto when they developed their .416 in response to California's banning of the .50cal. They also stopped servicing the .50s owned by LEO departments in the state.
