NYC illegals just committed this heinous crime while staying on taxpayers’ dime

Leftist politicians spent decades virtue-signaling their compassion by proclaiming areas under their control to be “sanctuaries” for illegal immigrants.

While that was easy, what’s proven tougher is figuring out what to do when they actually show up in their neighborhoods.

Now a group of NYC illegals just committed this heinous crime while staying on taxpayers’ dime.

Police and witnesses say that a rowdy group of illegal immigrants attacked people walking by in Manhattan.

The alleged attackers were staying at a former jail that has been converted into a shelter for what local media are calling “asylum seekers” on Central Park North, close to the location of the incident.

A vicious attack enabled by failed policy

Cops say that the incident took place in Harlem, just before 9:45 AM when pedestrians were being attacked by several individuals who were throwing objects at them.

That’s when a man came out of his apartment to confront the group and was kicked and punched by the attackers.

Police and witnesses say he was then pushed through a glass door.

He was treated for his injuries by first responders and then taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition.

Another man tried to intervene and was also beaten up and suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police say that one person was arrested, with charges pending.

Two other suspects, who escaped on scooters, remain at large.

A security guard who works at the former jail said he witnessed the fight.

According to the guard, the victim was being chased by several men who were staying at the facility, until he was backed into the glass door of a large apartment building.

The security worker said, “He went to I guess find safety. Instead, they pushed him into the glass and pulled him out as he was trying to get away.”

The police report described the injuries as “a serious laceration.”

A building manager said that lack of security for the facility is a major problem.

He said, “They don’t control the tenants. There is nobody to complain to. They put garbage in our property and we get a fine and we go over there. There is nobody directing. They all say ‘Call the mayor.’”

A maintenance worker on scene after the attack was cleaning glass off of the rug and was upset by what had transpired.

The worker, who calls himself “Thunder,” said, “Everything was good until that asylum building came. Even when we have police security, we don’t have police security like we used to.”

A sanctuary no more?

This all comes as Mayor Eric Adams is now telling illegal immigrants that they should go somewhere else.

He has admitted that his city cannot handle the 90,000 illegal immigrants since Texas and other border states began busing them to sanctuary cities and is now resorting to handing flyers to illegal immigrants at the southern border that say, “Housing in NYC is very expensive” and “the cost of food, transportation, and other necessities in NYC is the highest in the United States.”

Poster Comment:

I knew this woman in NYC who was working two jobs so she could send her son to a private school.

She had an offer to go to Syria as a cook for the U.N. She wanted to send her son to me so she didn't have to pay a Nanny full time.

I put the kibosh on that pretty darn quickly. ;)
