FORT LAUDERDALE, Aug. 22 /Christian Newswire/ -- Coral Ridge Ministries issued a call today for “more history and less hysteria” in response to harsh, unfounded Anti-Defamation League accusations leveled against a new Coral Ridge Ministries produced television special linking Charles Darwin to Adolf Hitler.

The special, Darwin’s Deadly Legacy, which airs August 26 and 27 nationwide features historians and scholars who connect the dots between Hitler and the ideas penned by Darwin in his On the Origin of Species and later works.

When ADL National Director Abe Foxman, who has not viewed our television program, calls it “twisted” and asserts that “Hitler did not need Darwin to devise his heinous plan to exterminate the Jewish people,” he ignores the historical fact that Adolf Hitler was an evolutionist.

“Among German historians, there’s really not much debate about whether or not Hitler was a social Darwinist,” according to historian Richard Weikart, author of From Darwin to Hitler and a featured guest on the Coral Ridge Ministries television special. “He clearly was drawing on Darwinian ideas,” said Weikart.

British evolutionist Sir Arthur Keith wrote in the 1940s: “The German Führer, as I have consistently maintained, is an evolutionist. He has consciously sought to make the practice of Germany conform to the theory of evolution.”

Even leading evolutionist Niles Eldredge freely admits the link between Darwin and Hitler. Eldredge, a curator at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, has written that “social Darwinism,” which he regards as an illegitimate offspring of Darwin’s theory, “has given us the eugenics movement and some of its darker outgrowths, such as the genocidal practices of the Nazis in World War II—where eugenics was invoked as a scientific rationale to go along with whatever other ‘reasons’ Hitler and his fellow Nazis had for the Holocaust.”

But evolution was not incidental to Hitler’s thought. It was a “central aspect of his worldview,” according to Weikart, a leading scholar on the Darwin-Hitler nexus.

“It drove pretty much everything that he did. It was not just a peripheral part of his ideology.”

The argument for evolution’s impact on Hitler is strengthened by the fact that Darwinian thought heavily influenced Germany in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Hitler was hardly alone in his racist ideas fueled by Darwin and his intellectual progeny, who include Ernst Haeckel and Francis Galton, the founder of eugenics which was a critical component of the Nazi killing machine. Hitler, according to Weikart, “was drawing on what many other scholars, biologists, and geneticists in Germany were preaching and teaching in the early twentieth century.”

Dr. D. James Kennedy, President of Coral Ridge Ministries and host of Darwin’s Deadly Legacy, stated, “We have had nearly 150 years of the theory of Darwinian evolution. And what has it brought us—whether Darwin intended it or not? Millions of deaths, the destruction of those deemed ‘inferior,’ the devaluing of human life, and increasing hopelessness. Darwin’s legacy has been deadly indeed.”

Coral Ridge Ministries has also published a companion book to the television special, Evolution’s Fatal Fruit: How Darwin’s Tree of Life Brought Death to Millions, which examines the social consequences of Darwin’s theory. Written by Tom DeRosa, Executive Director of the Creation Studies Institute (an outreach of Coral Ridge Ministries), the book explains how Hitler tried to use genocide to speed up evolution and reveals how the American eugenics movement is likewise indebted to Darwin.

Dr. Kennedy has been leading up to this documentary for weeks now, and I am 100% in his corner on this, even though Ann Coulter will appear in it.

"To put it simply, no Darwin, no Hitler," says Dr. Kennedy. ... http://www.rawstory.com/news/2006/ New_ TV_special_featuring_Coulter_ties_0819.html -

Foxman is such a dork. Why would he object to this? Hmm?

the book explains how Hitler tried to use genocide to speed up evolution and reveals how the American eugenics movement is likewise indebted to Darwin.

Would it surprise anyone to know that one of the signers of the infamous Balfour Declaration, to give Palestine to the Jews, was an honorary member of the Eugenics movement?

Memory. (Winston Churchill's sterilization proposal)(Beat the Devil) (Column)

The Nation; 11/23/1992; Cockburn, Alexander

Memory

One eminent policy wonk on strategies for reduction of the dangerous classes was Winston Churchill. As Home Secretary in 1910 he secretly proposed the sterilization of 100,000 "mental degenerates" and the dispatch of tens of thousands of others to state-run labor camps, so as to save the "British race" from inevitable decline as its "inferior" members were allowed to breed.

The story of Churchill's passionate advocacy of such methods of social control was outlined by Clive Ponting in an article in the London Guardian published on June 20 of this year. In the mid-1980s Ponting, a civil servant, was tried and acquitted under the Official Secrets Act for leaking documents relevant to the sinking of the Argentine cruiser General Belgrano during the Falklands war. Author of the excellent book Nineteen Forty: Myth and Reality, Ponting is at work on a biography of Churchill that, to judge by the Guardian installment, will be a useful corrective to the record.

In the decade after Churchill entered Parliament, in 1900, elite policy planners were concerned that Britain was sliding into decline, losing industrial pre-eminence and world market share to Germany and the United States. A cult of national efficiency flourished, with diverse schemes for improving output, education, training and the nation's gene pool.

A Royal Commission recommended to the Liberal government in 1908 that Britain's lunacy laws be expanded to cover not merely the insane but also the "feeble-minded"--those incapable of "competing on equal terms with their normal fellows or managing themselves and their affairs with ordinary prudence" meaning simply that they were less educated, less intelligent and less adept in social skills. The commission reckoned there were some 105,000 people in England and Wales in this category.

In the view of one commissioner, Alfred Tredgold, these feeble-minded folk were impeding the advance of the nation and hence its ability to compete in the world economy. Worse, they were breeding almost twice as fast as the national average and, if this was not checked, the time would come, "if it has not already come," when the nation would contain a "preponderance of citizens lacking in the intellectual and physical vigour which is absolutely essential to progress" and which therefore "must inevitably end in national destruction."

Churchill urged fundamental change: forced sterilization of these saboteurs of Britain's ability to compete. He buttressed his case with a booklet, The Sterilization of Degenerates, by Dr. H.C. Sharp of the Indiana Reformatory in the United States.

In the first couple of decades of the twentieth century American elites were also much concerned about the national gene pool (the founders of Cal Tech were rabid eugenicists) and about national efficiency. Between 1907 and 1913, starting with Indiana, twelve states put sterilization statutes on their books. Indiana's Governor, J. Frank Hanley, signed a law authorizing the compulsory sterilization of any confirmed criminal, idiot, rapist or imbecile in a state institution whose condition was determined to be "unimprovable" by a panel of physicians. (The whole story is laid out in Philip Reilly's The Surgical Solution of 1991.)

In the kind of pro-con argument one expects to hear on the MacNeil-Lehrer show ("Tonight, the sterilization debate"), Churchill argued to dubious officials in the Home Office that sterilization was a merciful act, it being "cruel to shut up numbers of people in institutions for their whole lives, if by a simple surgical operation they could be permitted to live freely in the world without causing much inconvenience to others."

Churchill simultaneously urged "proper labour colonies," where tramps and wastrels could be sent "for considerable periods and made to realise their duty to the State." He had already set up the first labor hiring halls, not as a social reform but as an efficient way of organizing the labor market. The colonies, or gulags, were a logical extension of the plan. The feeble-minded would' be part of this corvee.

The plan was rounded off with a series of mandatory sentencing instructions whereby second offenders (for any crime) could be declared criminally weak-minded and compelled to submit to medical examination. If the doctors upheld the diagnosis, the offender could be sent to a labor camp for an indefinite period.

That was in the bad old days, right? Churchill certainly would have been ecstatic about the zeal in this country for using prisons as holding pens for the mentally afflicted. Public Citizen and the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill released a report in September showing that on any given day in the United States more than 30,000 seriously mentally ill human beings, suffering from schizophrenia, manic depressive illness and other afflictions, are being held in city and county jails. This total, accounting for more than 7 percent of the inmates of such institutions, does not include mentally ill inmates of state and federal prisons.

The study found that 29 percent of the jails surveyed hold these unfortunates without any criminal charges, being the dumping; ground of only resort. This is legal in seventeen states. In other states the mentally afflicted are hit with trivial charges such as disorderly conduct, drunkenness or trespass. So, just as Churchill urged eighty years ago, the criminalization of the mentally ill is proceeding apace, with jails becoming surrogate mental hospitals. Churchill would also have heartily approved of that other modern form of policing the work force and undesirable social elements, the "drug war," designed to criminalize the dangerous classes and imprison them.

Philip Reilly concluded in his interesting book: "The notion that selective sterilization could reap social benefits by reducing welfare costs does remain disturbingly attractive in some quarters." In 1960 the Maryland Senate passed a bill that made it a felony to bear more than two illegitimate children, but the bill was thrown out by Maryland's House of Delegates. Twenty years later the Texas Board of Resources put forward the daring plan (no doubt described at the time as "controversial") of mandatory sterilization for all welfare recipients. In 1981 a Houston member of the Texas legislature asked his constituents whether or not they favored sterilization for women on welfare with at least three children. Out of just over 6,000 respondents, 60 percent answered in the affirmative.

The shape of things to come in this field can be summed up in the term "neogenetics," being eugenics decked out in the respectability of modern technology. First you knock out embryos with Down's syndrome and similar ailments, then you widen out from this beachhead. Incidentally, Reilly tells my colleague Billy Treger that Negative Population Growth, based in Teaneck, New Jersey, with Joanne Woodward on its board, reckons the optimal U.S. population to be 150 million, not quite as stringent as the 750,000 ceiling recommended by those wishing to return to the age of the hunter-gatherers.

Speaking of eugenics, lets not forget Hitler's British nemesis.

This is absolutely correct. I thought about this yesterday while I was putting together some of my loong articles on the Nazi agenda being imposed in America. I stumbled across that factoid a couple of years ago while researching the murder of Terry Schiavo, the factoid being that Hitler got his ideas from Britain AND AMERICA! Here are some articles [I think the second one is the one I have a copy of somewhere around here. There may be duplicates in the list]:

This all ties in with a post I made earlier. Some [at least] of the states are in the process of creating social misfits and drug addicts by wrongfully stealing them from their families, placing them in state custody and "foster homes", etc., were they are sexually and mentally abused, and where children as young as 2 and 3 are given psychotic drugs, that have been proven dangerous for animals and adults. When they are old enough [14], they are put in jail, and used for slave labor. http://freedom4um.com/cgi-bin/readart.cgi?ArtNum=33130&Disp=20#C20

It just makes you sick.

I think Al Gore was calling for 50 million in the US at one time. I think Yoko Ono is on record as saying there should only be 500,000,000 people WORLDWIDE, which, of course, ties in with the message of the Georgian guidestones.

Why the freak out from the ADL? B'nai B'rith, the ADL's parent group, was "formed to develop and elevate tho moral and mental character of the Jewish race", according to its own press releases from the turn of the century.

"We can make a natural alliance through the ownership of the great industries of the world and through the sharing of their profits." -Lord Charles Beresford, in a 1903 speech to the (Anglo-American-Jewish) Pilgrims Society.

The belief that destruction is the solution to one's populations problems is inherent in the function of conquest. Conquest? you ask? Who might be conquering this planet? Ask Majestic12. Ask the Air Force. Ask them WHY they've been shooting at hapless vehicles since 1942 at the Battle of LA, when the 4th Interceptor Squadron blasted at one ET for about 3 hours straight.

According to Frances Moore Lappe, this planet could support 50 billion human beings if distributive justice were an acceptable option, in contrast to unlimited predation (capitalistic exploitation) and parasitism (slavery).

What is apparent since the 1940s is that the focus of Leadership has moved away from "making the planet habitable for people" to "making the planet habitable for elites" and eradicating people who do the work.

If I didn't know that our leaders were intelligent, thinking minds, I would think perhaps their minds had been taken over by inter-dimensional minds-- predators and parasitic telepath ETs-bent on emptying this planet.

Otherwise, why would the presence of UFO/ETs be such a secret if our leaders were negotiating with them in good faith?

Maybe our leaders are possessed with minds bent on the destruction of our race, anywhich way it can be accomplished : through birth- stoppages, child-murders, pedophilia, corruption, wars, new diseases, depleted uranium, faulty vaccines, electronic interference with cell-life and foods and beverages laced with poisons--aspartame, saccharin, fluoride and benzene.

Somebody wants us all dead. That's for sure.
