20. To: Badeye (#17) I warned him publicly at least twice, and by email NOT to post anything that was in Arabic, or linked to an Arabic language site. He said it was done accidently, and would not do it again. In the last article he posted, (I deleted the thread), when I went to the link, it was AGAIN to an Arabic language site. That was it. Done. I won't be lied to. LP cannot tolerate that. We are at war...like it or not. There is no way for me or others who cannot speak Arabic to know whether or not there are messages between terrorists going on, and I won't be a party to that. It's too dangerous for all of us. When I warn someone about an action, and spell out the reason why, and they do it again, I don't have any other choice but to cut off their posting rights. I think I acted on behalf of the posting community here. We can't be associated in any way with those who are terrorists. I think he was doing a disservice to the site, and our members. I was very disappointed with him. Goldi-Lox posted on 2006-09-07 14:34:17 ET Reply Trace

Looks like a TRT rally in NYC.

Maybe the one at the UN in 2000?

I've never had a problem with cashing a check at my local bank someone may have sent to me made out to my screen name,

I've found that if you use your ATM for deposits, checks with non-conforming payee's slide through the system without a hitch. Of course I'm talking checks under $500.

Ghoul of Quantrill's biker bar thread made Goldi squeal. I wonder if toilet breath has been smitten with a time out.

I think commies are exerting an evil influence over Goldi. I am just going to lay low over here until she breaks free.

I saw it posted here. Said it was Goldie. I think it was taken in NYC.

Theres another pic of her floating around here of her flipping off the UN building.. that pic I read was taken from her FR profile page.

Personally, I don't know..

Utterly, totally, and completely pathetic.

"messages between terrorists" on LP? O for crying out loud.

What a blood filled DORK.

I was at that rally with my daughter. Nice turnout. Gave the UN hell.

You wanna hear something interesting? Several folks had these T-shirts with a UN looking symbol that said "Visualize World police" on it and the UN would not let anyone inside wearing one of those shirts.

Freedom of expression is NOT alive and well as far as the UN is concerned.

look at the facts and then apply occums razor.

goldi doesn't like aristiedies politics, but aristeidies never does anything wrong so goldi can't honorably ban him.

one day goldi bans him in secret. doesnt't tell a soul.

she remains silent for a week and the people on the web tear her apart.

she finally comes out and puts on a show with badeye. says aritiedies might be helping the terrorists by linking to arabic websites.

does aristiedies strike you are a terrorist? no.

a simpler explanation would be goldi didn't like aristiedies politics, she banned him in secret hoping no one would notice and then came up with the lame excuse when the chatter on the web wouldn't let up.

that's occums razor for you.

Although I wouldn't have banned Aristedes, I do understand her point about government scrutiny.

Wasn't some guy arrested for playing Al Jazeera TV in a public place just recently???

The climate in this country is one where free speech is dead, and you better mind your p's and q's if you know what's good for you.

I am in no way siding with Goldishlock. I just see her point of view. If posting material from alleged terrorist websites makes your website popular with the feds, I'm not sure I'd want to post there either.

You never want to be affiliated with fundie wackos of ANY stripe, especially when the concentration camps are already built, and manned.

What's that Mr. Nipples? You want me to ask the nice lady about her rack?.

REALLY....... That's exactly what they are trying to establish now.

Saw an ad on TV today for a new two new series. Dallas SWAT and Kansas City SWAT (I believe). I suppose these shows are to get us used to seeing this sort of thing all the time??

>>Freedom of expression is NOT alive and well as far as the UN is concerned.

It doesn't seem to be the case.

Barf Alert tried to sneak in, but couldn't cut it. He's a GOPfirster.

Of course, people are going to have to make a decision whether the Republican Party is to survive or whether a free and open country is to survive. The two are at odds and you can't have both.

Any patriotic member of the GOP can tell you that the Bush administration should survive at the expense of the country. The national boundries of the United States are going to be erased after November elections anyway --- so why should anyone give a rip about the country? It's going away soon.

It is the party that matters. Stalin, Hitler and Mao discovered this before you were born.

Maybe because I don't check my e-mails, I never saw her warnings, and consequently never made the response she claims I made. If she posted warnings to me on LP, it must have been in postings I never read.

The last posting I made was from Uruknet, which, as far as I can see, is in English. Its page includes one or two Arabic words at the top of the page, and those I did not include in my posting, because I had seen an earlier complaint from Goldi about including Arabic in a posting. (That was probably one of my earlier postings, although that complaint from her that I did see did not mention me in particular. That posting said she was worried about the posting of coded messages.)

Interesting that that article that I posted that led to my banning is still up there on LP, after somebody else posted it a few hours after I did: What Types of Gruesome Weapons Did Israel Use in Lebanon?.

The link to the original article on Uruknet appears not to be functioning now, but here's a summary Uruknet page that uses Arabic to the same limited extent that the original article page did: uruknet.info.
