20. To: Badeye (#17) I warned him publicly at least twice, and by email NOT to post anything that was in Arabic, or linked to an Arabic language site. He said it was done accidently, and would not do it again. In the last article he posted, (I deleted the thread), when I went to the link, it was AGAIN to an Arabic language site. That was it. Done. I won't be lied to. LP cannot tolerate that. We are at war...like it or not. There is no way for me or others who cannot speak Arabic to know whether or not there are messages between terrorists going on, and I won't be a party to that. It's too dangerous for all of us. When I warn someone about an action, and spell out the reason why, and they do it again, I don't have any other choice but to cut off their posting rights. I think I acted on behalf of the posting community here. We can't be associated in any way with those who are terrorists. I think he was doing a disservice to the site, and our members. Which was my point.
No news articles have been removed unless they had a foreign language in them.
I've removed 2 that had arabic in them.
With our terror threat, I don't know if that could be a signal to do a deed or not, and I don't want homeland security shutting down LP.
So
If you want a discussion board that has no rules, and is a free for all, Libertyforum is still operating. If that is what you want, go there. However, it's gotten so ugly that the owner has abandoned it. I don't intend to let LP go that route.
Any article that is posted here that contains arabic or other language in it that cannot be read by me, will likely get pulled. Just to be safe.
And I will pull any thread that contains material that is not news, that promotes any specific bigotry - regardless of the bigotry. I still have new people signing up who promote very ugly things. If you guys see them before I zap them, I get a scad of pings, and emails to dump it. So, they aren't things you guys want on LP.
Fun threads for the members to participate in are still okay, since they only seem to occur occasionally. They would be in the LP Townhall category, Misc General, or the Biker Bar.

I have learned that the two short Arabic phrases in question simply read "Enlarge text size" and "Decrease text size" in Arabic---functioning like those big and small letter "A's" you often see on web pages.
If that's a "coded message," then the dang TERR-ists are doin' it all over the net! LMAO.
