Man's Tattooed Face Gives Him Away

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. - It didn't take the sleuthing skills of a Miss Marple or Sherlock Holmes to figure out who was peddling marijuana to teenagers in Market Square. Police said 28-year-old Eric Hardcastle's tattooed eyebrows, head and cheeks made him easy to identify.

Late Monday night, a teenager reported being approached by a man with a heavily tattooed face with three baggies of marijuana for sale. Officers said they found Hardcastle _ who has a row of arrows over each brow, a tattoo on his forehead and scalp and matching markings on each cheek _ soon afterward at a convenience store.

"He is definitely an individual that you would notice," said Lt. Rodney McQuate.

Hardcastle quickly went from living in a homeless shelter to a jail cell. After pleading guilty Tuesday to misdemeanor drug possession, Hardcastle was sentenced to six months in the Rockingham County jail.

Despite his run-in with the law, Hardcastle said he likes Portsmouth, where he landed two weeks ago after riding with a trucker.

"I want to make it here," he said. Subscribe to *Humor-Weird News*

6 months in prison for trying to sell three baggies of the pot? Yeah. Why not a year? Why not ten years? I think after the parasites and death merchants of the MIC - the maggots who profit off the prison complex in this country are a close second. What is it now? 2.2 million inmates in this country at any given time? That is nearly a million more than China's total- a nation of 1.2 billion people!

And the prisons are going private enterprise. Hey there's good $$ to be made in keeping lots of people locked up.

Why not ten years?

They don't want to encroach on Texas' gig. I can't believe you can still go to jail for small amounts of a basically harmless drug. The more I think about it, the better Canada looks.
