Played by José Iturbi. Albéniz (1860 - 1909) was an important Spanish composer, principally for the piano, and his distinctly Spanish music is representative of "nationalistic - folkloric" European compositions of the late 19th Century and early 20th Century.

The composition is from 1914 - the performance is from 7 June 1960, sung by Teresa Berganza.

"Aux armes, citoyens! Formez vos bataillons! Marchons! Marchons! Qu'un sang impur abreuve nos sillons!"

Title: Isaac Albéniz - Sevillana

I believe the title from youtube is in error and should read Sevilla rather than Sevillana.

He clearly introduces the composition as Sevilla.

Sevillana is the name of the very popular folk music and dance heard and seen at all the fairs in Andalucía at the southern end of Spain.
