(I see that this idea is already running free on LP. Everyone is way ahead of me. I'm behind the curve, oh well. So I'm not really giving anything new here, but what the heck)

I've decided it's time to cut through the BS around here. I have no intention what-so-ever of abiding by Goldi's new insane rule about not posting anything about Ron Paul. There is no reason to at all. It is far beyond reason and I'm going to give it all the respect it deserves, none. Unjust laws deserve no respect and I will give it none. The whole idea is an outrage. She intends to prevent posts about a presidential candidate? No way in hell I'm going along. She can ban me if she wants, big deal, I can't stay under these circumstances anyway. I intend to follow the rules I agreed to when I got an account, and the ban on WP stories, as I knew about it already, and it's reasonable, though new posters should have a way of knowing it. I have no intention of following any of the BS rules Goldi post on her periodic rants. In fact, I'm putting her on bozo, where she belongs. She will be the first person I have ever done that to in the 7 years since I first had access to such a software function. (No, Neil didn't invent the idea)

Like I said, I will continue to follow the posted rules in good faith, I will do my best to make anything I post as a thread worth doing so. I'm also going to do my best to stay off troll threads at all cost. (For instance “The Ron Paul fans are spamming the forum again” I will continue to try and stay out of the wild flame wars that burn in this place.

If Goldi doesn't like it, who cares? She is as useless forum hostess as ever I've seen. She should give it back to Neil. She seems to hate the place and its become a joke under her.

Okay /end rant.

It may seem nuts to put the person who can ban you on bozo, but it also sends a message, clear as can be about what you think of her actions. I say put her on bozo. Once, no bozo spamming.

There is only one candidate this year with any kind of grass roots support, Ron Paul. Lots of it internet based. Take a look at any of the news stories about him (that you aren't supposed to post here) they all mention it. Yet, we're supposed to pretend he doesn't exist? The simple reality of the situation is that ANY forum on the net that is in anyway open is going to have supporters of Paul on it. There are going to be stories posted about it. It's news. Simple fact. To not allow it is to turn this place into a total lie.

As I see it for myself there are three things that I could do here at this point that would be honorable in the face of this nonsense.

1.

Simply leave.

2.

Continue here, restricting myself to THE BIG THREAD and Palo's, as well as any other new ones that come along. (I will do this too I think) 3.

Not pay any attention to what deserves not to be payed attention to. That's what I'm going to do.

Now, I checked and I only have 4 (five with this one) articles that I've ever posted here, 3 of them had to do with Ron Paul. And in the last year and a half something like less then 600 posts all together . You can call that spamming if you want, good luck getting someone to believe you.

Now, naturally, if Goldi should give the place up, I will take her off bozo and treat her just like everyone else. Ignoring or replying as I see fit. But she hasn't posted anything as a moderator that was worth listening to in years as far as I can tell.

But for now, I will go along my merry way with her on bozo. If and when I find something I think is worthy to be a thread on Ron Paul, I will post it, same as always. When I have something to add to a Paul thread, I will do it. I'm not going to post any old thing as a thread. For right now, I'll just add a name to bozo.

(Non-Paul people could do the same if you don't agree with the ban)

I'll suggest to all Paul supporters that the best way to handle this place is to try and act like Ron Paul would. Ignore the spitballs. Respond to reasonable questions or objections thoughtfully, even if they are given in a hateful or demeaning manor, like Ron Paul would.

Also, being an actual Christian, I don't think Paul would mind a bit if we also did our best to keep these these in mind (now this is really hard):

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.'"

Anybody remember this?

g by Goldi's new insane rule about not posting anything about Ron Paul. There is no reason to at all.

The reason is that he does not accept domination of the US by the Israels.

That really is all there is to it.

She should give it back to Neil.

While I think this would be an awesome development, I believe Goldi would close LP down before she did this just to be spiteful, not necessarily to Neil but to those who would love to see the forum change hands.

It's a harmless hobby that yukon has. It doens't mean he's gay. I do the same thing myself.

Hat's off to Palo Verde for her 'timely' return to LP to promote Ron Paul.

This should be fun to watch.

stay out of the wild flame wars that burn in this place

There are a small group of people, both pro and anti Bush, who do nothing but follow each other around and call one another names on every fucking thread. It doesn't matter what the subject is. They don't debate the issues with each other, they don't discuss why they believe the way they do, they just call each other names. It's like listening to my children bickering with each other. It's a shame goldi doesn't go in there and really clean house. There was a time, a long time ago now, when people could have a decent debate with one another. People would post long, well written and thought out diatribes and get well written and well thought out rebuttals. Then folk like Badeye began showing up and the next thing you know, instead of getting decent rebuttals, they began posting meaningless and shallow one-liners which added nothing to the topic of conversation. Then others arrived like Beckett Saunders and TraceOU812 or whatever the fuck his dumbass namne was, and the meaningless one- liners turned into outright insults and talk about killing and imprisoning people they didn't agree with. Now it's to the point that no matter what you post, someone is going to hurl an insult at you.

It's a shame what the place has turned into.

She started a thread to see if Goldi would ban her. It was quite popular. She said that she posts on digg now, and may not be around much.

Yep. If Goldi was around more she'd see what was happening and ban the lot of them. They get some sort of sick entertainment following each other around from thread to thread.

Not under the circumstances. Ron Paul is really not her cup of tea. From what I've seen her write, she's not anti-war and she's a protectionist. I'm convinced at this time that Ron Paul is a militarily stronger candidate than the others because he knows that brute force in the open weakens us. Call it a little Ron Paul Sun Tzu, if you will.

I am not trying to be mean here, but some people think way too much of themselves.

The fact that Goldi is unfair is a given, but it is her forum. If you don't like her rules, leave. So LP turns into another FR/RedState/Hannity forum, who cares? They are all irrelevant including FR. Ron Paul's forums are showing the so-called "Republican" forum "giants", that they are mere ants by comparison. Even FR can't compete with all of the Ron Paul Forums out there. Any political forum that bans discussion of Ron Paul is not worth reading, they are making themselves more irrelevant everyday. Forget LP, you may have contributed a lot of posts to LP but it is way past high time to cut ties with that place.

God is always good!

I think my pointing that out in several posts over the last few days is part of what triggered tonight's purge of dissidents.

Thanks - I'll likely be hanging my hat here a lot more from now on.

I was one of the people purged tonight in Goldi's Jim Robinscum style purging of posters who would not remain silent in the face of imposed censorship on articles concerning Ron Paul.

I am actually surprised it did not come sooner, but did expect it. Goldi is lacking in integrity and proved it tonight.
