Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get pics of either Tom Cryer or Robert Lawrence. It was a great time spent with these principled, courageous, and inspiring "freedom fighters." I wish you all could have been there. I'll be posting a youtube of Ed Griffin's outstanding and informational speech at last night's banquet as soon as Danny Romero, from WTPRN, gets it uploaded. It's a must hear for everyone. (8 images)

G. Edward Griffin and me

I first saw him interviewing Yuri Bezmenov:

I noticed him in Fiat Empire, and then I stumbled on to his "An Idea Whose Time Has Come" video:

I also found his interview of Norman Dodd: video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4446387174017711777

I noticed that he spoke on behalf of Ron Paul in California recently (also on Youtube).

"It takes 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? because this is the minimum number of years required to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy. In other words, Marxism and Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least three generations of American students without being challenged or counter balanced by the basic values of Americanism."~Bezmenov

interesting...

Notice that Yuri is speaking as if our institutions had not yet been corrupted, and he identifies critics of America as useful idiots (in the 1980s). G. Edward Griffin has appeared in another film from around the same time (that I can't find right now) that attempts to illustrate the subversion of our institutions; his warning would have served as a defense against communist corruption from the inside. Yet later, in his "An Idea" film, it is clear that he has become pessimistic. It must be discouraging for people like Yuri Bezmenov today, as he has said that there is "no where to run."

As Griffin says in his "Idea" film, we have to start getting more active in politics and pursuing opportunities to persuade others to share our views. He suggests that a typical trait among people who love freedom is to be independent and to avoid serving in public offices. He says that this must change, because it's the only way to get the country back.
