This game is barely worth the candle anymore, but just a brief flick of the Bic to see the cards one more time....

I was the Wikipedia editor named "DeadNative" that created the second Benjamin Emanuel wiki page, now deleted. The request for the page deletion was made by a wiki editor named "Biruitorul" and the final decision to delete the page was made by an editor named "Jayjg". The result of the sordid mess can be seen here:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wik..._Emanuel_(2nd_nomination)

(note: the archived discussion above was edited by the wikipedia staff to remove my refutations to the user Biruitorul).

"Jayjg" was the editor mentioned in the CAMERA/wikipedia flap this past spring:

electronicintifada.net/v2/article9474.shtml

A quick search on google for the parties involved shows a few interesting tidbits:

www.google.com/search?hl=...era+wikipedia&btnG=Search

A look at Jayjg's wiki page:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Jayjg

will show his overarching interest in articles about synagogues on Wikipedia. It seems that a page for every minor synagogue is far more important to Jayjg than a page for a noteworthy man that informed the political views of the new White House chief of staff.

My point? Only a fool thinks that Wikipedia has anything to do with objective, neutral articles. Had my article been about a noteworthy terrorist father of an Arab politician, Jayjg probably would have added to it.
