Mostly due to structural failure.

"If I were going to construct a God I would furnish him with some ways and qualities and characteristics which the Present One lacks... He would spend some of His eternities in trying to forgive Himself for making man unhappy when He could have made him happy with the same effort and He would spend the rest of them in studying astronomy." ~ Mark Twain

They also had fits over Clown Posse. I was booted off FR, as were many others, for posting over there.

I wasn't but used a different handle. Didn't post that much, there were some very odd posters there and they clearly didn't respect privacy.

I was booted off LP for posting over here.

Oh? I didn't know there was such a rule at LP. Seems strange so many of us were over here during the outage if that is uniform policy at LP.

You know, those Klowns could be wildly funny. I always think of the FR cruise thread. The posts. The pictures! Oh, Lordy.

I paid attention to the signs. I got ticketed anyway.

When paying the extortion money to the city today, the slave behind the city's collection desk was an acquaintance I hadn't seen in a number of years. The number kept changing from $140 to $170 and then he settled on $185. In a civil and polite voice, I asked, "Jim, you seem like a nice guy. Why do you work for an extortion outfit like this?"

He got a little testy and said, "We can't discuss this" and then refused to talk to me any further. I wrote down Frederic Bastiat's name and the title of his book, "The Law" and asked him if he'd ever heard the term 'legal plunder' before. He took the slip of paper. I hope the poor little slave reads the book.

Name one thing that the government does that improves our lives. I bet you can't come up with even one.

Actually in an elastic collision kinetic energy is NOT conserved. That is the defining characteristic of one.

You have it reversed. It is an INELASTIC collision that the kinetic energy is NOT conserved.

In an elastic collision kinetic energy IS conserved. The equation for kinetic energy in an elastic collision is as follows;

It wouldn't make any sense for an inelastic collision to conserve kinetic energy, as by definition an inelastic collision is one which kinetic energy is transferred to other forms. Since it took energy to pulverize the structure, the collision was inelastic as the energy was transferred to the pulverization process, and also in the way of heat.

The video shows that the top floors stayed in tact at least most of the way down.

You are kidding yourself. The top part of the structure started to pulverize even BEFORE it fell past the damaged section. Post a video that shows anything other than what I just said.

Additionally, since the loss of a large amount of the structure caused by the pulverization presented a lower mass in terms of momentum, and the lower UNDAMAGED structure was not a free standing object in a closed system but a rigid structure resting upon an immovable surface (hence being acted upon by an external force), the idea of momentum goes out the door as well.

The report you link stated that it would have been possible for the WTC to collapse by "pancaking" in 8 seconds

WRONG MORON he wrote that he had read that the free fall speeds VARIED from 8- 18 seconds. He said that the MINIMUM TIME would have been 9.1 seconds.

2.0 WTC COLLAPSE TIMES

The collapse times of each of the two WTC towers are very important parameters in the estimation of the energy transfer involved in these events. In this report we define the collapse time, tc, as the observed time interval for more than 95 % of the mass of the WTC tower (WTC 1 or 2) to fall to “ground zero”. This, of course, requires a definition of the start of the collapse. Because of uncertainties in the timing of the WTC collapseinitiating and terminating events, many different values of tc have been reported; however, the published values (I have seen) all fall in the range 8 – 18 seconds. In addition, Newtonian mechanics dictates a minimum value for the collapse time, tc, which is calculated, (allowing for the thickness of each floor), as followsf82;:tc = h54;(2h/g) = h54;{2(416 f85;10)/9.81} = 9.1 seconds f82; The calculations included in this report are based on well-documented values for the WTC height, weight and other building specifications as listed in Appendix 1.

You've displayed a stupidity that is rapidly becoming BOUNDLESS.

Post an analysis of the WTC dust as I did.

Here's one for you to ponder;

The North Tower's Dust Cloud

Now explain to everyone how a dust cloud can cause an intact floor to collapse, as the upper structure was pulverized into dust as it collapsed, leaving very little mass to actualy impact the lower floors.

BTW, do you have calculations as to how much energy would be required to cause an entire floor to fail instantaneously by impact? There would be VERY little energy left over after the pulverization of an upper floor as it impacts a lower floor, and the lower floor must be caused to fail by the remaining energy if the "pancake" theory can be taken seriously.

So go ahead, give us the equations and the details.

I don't like it if I feel I'm the resident of some plantation.

OTOH, I do grasp that disruptors will sometimes try to ruin another forum or poach posters from another forum. So if I were a mod or forum owner and saw that happening, I would warn them and then ban them.

People act as though only forum owners are ever sneaky and snarky or underhanded or operating from false motives. It's the posters that are by far the worst. The forum owners generally have a fairly moderate attitude until some disruptors or persons with bad motives start trolling or poaching their forum.

For instance, if I came over here and said nasty stuff about Goldi, I wouldn't expect to be welcome any more at LP. Same for FR and for Freedom4um. Free speech isn't the right to bite the hand that feeds you. And donations to these forums are not the purchase of a service which grants you any rights unless that is what they state explicitly.

There's always a tug-of-war over moderation, wannabe mods, trolls, poachers, Klownish types, donors who think someone owes someone something, those who play tricks with private messaging, etc.

Being a forum owner or mod isn't quite so easy as some people think. It's like herding cats. Real sneaky bloodthirsty cats. :)

The "top structure" was NOT "pulverized"...what WAS pulverized was concrete, glass, people and drywall...

Are you retarded? You contradict yourself within the same sentence. That "concrete, glass, and drywall..." along with furniture and office equipment had WEIGHT, in fact, MOST of the weight of any particular floor. The steel columns are a mystery as they should have remained standing even WITH a "pancake" collapse. In fact, the core could not collapse per se, it would have needed to have been shredded and torn apart for it to totally fail.

Anyways, what kinetic energy there was due to the momentum of the upper structure was largely expended in pulverizing the upper structure to dust, where there could have been very little kinetic energy left to break all the trusses and supports of the floor below

Goldi got rid of pretty much anyone that didn't tow the pro-zionist line and who actively refuted it. I was initially banned for not cheering the bloodlust celebrations over the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, and the deaths of several UN observers due to an Israeli attack on their position.

She used a BS excuse where I had told liberator to be careful what he was saying, as he had called for the assassination of the UN Secretary General. She claimed that I was threatening to turn him in where I hadn't, as was obvious to anyone who was reading that thread.

In regards to Ron Paul supporters, she was banning them as quickly as Robinson and his mods "ZOT" new members who don't kiss the ass of the RNC.

How do you propose the government faked the collapse? Planting explosives on every floor and blowing them up one by one in perfect order as the towers fell?

The collapse certainly wasn't faked, the buildings WERE destroyed. However, the impact of the airliners was just for show, the REAL cause of the demolition was something else.

That explosives were never even CONSIDERED by the government indicates they have something to hide, as terrorists are no strangers to explosives and had in fact tried to plant explosives in the WTC back in 1993. Oddly, the person who planted that explosive was an FBI informant.

Any reasonable analysis would HAVE to include explosives, yet from the very start people who suggested that area be investigated were called "conspiracy nuts".

That strikes me as a coverup, and then you need to ask yourself, why would they cover that up? Of course, only those with something to hide need to coverup anything...

As far as your question concerning how it was done, and your theory of planting explosives in every floor, it would only need to be done every 10 floors, but every floor isn't impossible either.

And since the core disappeared where it should have remained standing, it's not impossible for some classified weapon to have vaporized it, AND for high explosives planted in critical areas to cause the rest of the structure to collapse as it did.

"The real deal is this: the ‘royalty’ controlling the court, the ones with the power, the ones with the ability to make a difference, with the ability to change our course, the ones who will live in infamy if we pass the tipping points, are the captains of industry, CEOs in fossil fuel companies such as EXXON/Mobil, automobile manufacturers, utilities, all of the leaders who have placed short-term profit above the fate of the planet and the well-being of our children." - James Hansen

In other words, despite the voluminous evidence that you have been shown that your beliefs have no basis in fact, you cling to them like a baby to a blankey...

And since the core disappeared

The core was cement...
