I don't know why Neil thought Obama would be any different than the rest. I hope he realizes he was wrong about that now. But even if he doesn't, insulting someone for something they sincerely believe, even if they are wrong, is childish and counterproductive to a mutual understanding of the issues.

I never suggested anyone vote for Obama. I've always suggested voting for either Ron Paul, as a write-in if/when necessary, or Barr, the LP candidate. Yet my casual observations about what might be different between Obama and McCain was apparently successfully exploited by a shill or two here to damage my reputation. And a few here were apparently (at best) careless enough to fall for it, and too close minded to see that they were successfully duped. And they continue to carry on the work of those shills.

I understand we have differing opinions on JT, and that's fine.

But I think the record on this thread of his completely unsolicited attacks on me on this evening speaks for itself, and supports my assessment quite strongly. I believe that any unbiased person reviewing it would agree.

And if I feel 4um is a place where it's open season for unwarranted attacks on my reputation, I'll close my account and go for good.

OK, I kind of thought you were for Obama over McCain but I guess I was wrong.

When the establishment controls who are the choices for President then it is a safe bet they differ very slightly on the issues to the point of being insignificant.

Hey shit for brains, Neil is the person that made this forum you're spewing shit on possible. He partnered with Goldi-Lox to create LP, and gave us 4um with the hostess (and owner) being christine.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you shit for brains. You should get on your knees and apologize for being such a major asshole.

In reference to your analogy of a pole, are you trying to say that the towers were swaying all over the place?

Had you ever been in the towers? You could feel the sway in the upper floors. This one is the easiest of your rantings to bitch slap. The towers swayed...it 's why lateral support was so important. And, uh, the design engineers after they had tested their prototypes that determined how much sway both the building and the occupants could take, they then developed a MASSIVE system of viscoelastic dampers that mitigated the sway. Guess where they put these dampers....BETWEEN THE TRUSSES AND THE PERIMETER COLUMNS.

Your problem is that you've assumed a conclusion, i.e. "BOOOSH BRUNG DOWN THE TOWERS!!!" and are trying to construct a fairy tale based upon Moonbatism Your further problem is, there are several REALITIES that stand in the way of your paranoiac fanrasy. So to cut to the chase here and answer your question...yes, Alice IN Wonderland, the towers did sway and the lost of perimeter support exacerbated that sway.

the exterior wall ...[was] NOT built to be a vertical load bearing part of the structure

Nope. That is just plain incorrect.

In terms of structural system the twin towers departed completely from other high-rise buildings. Conventional skyscrapers since the 19th century have been built with a skeleton of interior supporting columns that supports the structure. Exterior walls of glass steel or synthetic material do not carry any load. The Twin towers are radically different in structural design as the exterior wall is used as the load-bearing wall. (A load bearing wall supports the weight of the floors.) The only interior columns are located in the core area, which contains the elevators. The outer wall carries the building vertical loads and provides the entire resistance to wind. The wall consists of closely spaced vertical columns (21 columns 10 feet apart) tied together by horizontal spandrel beams that girdle the tower at every floor. On the inside of the structure the floor sections consist of trusses spanning from the core to the outer wall.

As for Neil, it seems that he has caught up somewhat. The conditioning to avoid discussion of the Jewish power structures runs deep and it takes some longer than others to catch on. Nothing will change until the political discussion encompasses all of the power structures involved. I think it's turning in that direction now.

The center of gravity does not move, however the forces on the remaining supports change. Center of gravity isn't the correct term. Increasing in magnitude and changing in direction. This creates a torque on the supports where there were none before. This creates a shear stress in the steel supports, in addition to increasing the regular stress from just holding up the tower with fewer supports.

I sent several of the links from my home computer to my work computer but I just copied and pasted them so I am not sure what I have here but I based that upon an analysis I had read that was complied by an engineer who said that the force of impact and resulting damage and which caused a weight shift implied that the center o gravity of actually shifted outside of the buildings' footptint. Now, I am not an engineer so I may have misunderstood his statement. It is that statement upon which I based my statement.

The center of gravity could have moved, if, the tower was actually bent in the impact. Otherwise not really. But the point you are making still stands, you are just using the wrong, or inaccurate term.

You stupid assed dork, NOWHERE have I EVER said ""BOOOSH BRUNG DOWN THE TOWERS!!!", only drooling retards such as yourself have ever thought ANYONE has ever honestly said that.

What is clear is that there are MANY lies and distortions being given as the "official truth" that are simply improbable or impossible, and not only is that reason to investigate what really DID happen, but to wonder why those in the US government and the media would try to coverup what DID happen.

Might Bush have known about the plan? More than likely he was kept in the dark in terms of operational details but knew SOMETHING was going to happen, and didn't blink an eyelash when it did. More than likely Cheney was fully aware and in fact part of the operation, along with a few other high ranking members of the administration.

That is simply an observation of what they did AFTER the attacks to stifle any sort of real investigation of what happened.

In other words you have no idea of what you're talking about,

It has been suggested that it was fortunate that the WTC did not tip over onto other buildings surrounding the area. There are several points that should be made. First, the building is not solid; it is 95 percent air and, hence, can implode onto itself. Second, there is no lateral load, even the impact of a speeding aircraft, which is sufficient to move the center of gravity one hundred feet to the side such that it is not within the base footprint of the structure.
