It could just be that Goldi has gone away for the weekend and doesn't know the site is down,or that there has been an equipment failure of some sort and they are working on getting it fixed.
Or it could just be that she got tired of putting up with all the crap,and just pulled the plug. I doubt the last one,though. I think she would post a notice if she were going to do this.

Has Goldi ever neglected LP to this extent?
I'm inclined to believe a combination of the grief of dealing mentally disturbed whining posters, the wretched state of the Union, and pressures we may not be privy to in her personal life may have caused her to say "SCREW IT!"...even for a week or so and beyond. Hope she's alright.
Pulling the plug permanently? Hey - who knows.

I was on LP briefly late at night two nights ago
and some disruptor had posted all bizarre hate in Breaking News
next morning site was down
I think Goldi got fed up, I don't know what she will do ?
I am guessing she isn't doing anything right now, just thinking it over?

I clicked on 4um originally yesterday to see if there was anything posted about LP, why it was down
there wasn't anything
so then I looked at the articles posted to see which ones interested me, I read them and the threads under them
then I looked at Latest Comments and read those threads
For some reason you had a lot of comments on the threads I read, I found them so interesting
so then when I went back to Latest Comments later on in evening
I clicked on your posts
I found your posts lively, interesting, and thoughtful
they made me think and gave me ideas
I appreciated them
