The demolition hypothesis doesn't even make sense. Why would they place demolitions then fly airplanes into them anyway? Do you think America would be less pissed off if they crashed airplanes into the towers, and they didn't fall? Probably not. It needlessly complicates a plan. And then tower 7 makes even less sense. If its impossible for tower 7 to fall down from fire, why would they bomb it? What good is it knocking down a building with nobody in it?
If I were going to fake a terrorist attack in the United States for political gain, I'd pick a small-big city like Duluth, Minnesota and set off a dirty bomb, then blame it on muslims crossing the border. You'd have political capital to invade any country you like, Iran, Pakistan, Iraq, North Korea, all the above.
What I wouldn't do is fly real planes into buildings into buildings rigged with explosives. The United States has the best material science engineers, the best civil engineers and the best physicists. You won't be able to fake something that defies the laws of the universe.

I totally enjoyed lurking on 4um yesterday evening and spent a lot of time here there were many many perceptive, thought-provoking comments by many posters I am sorry LP is down, but every cloud has a silver lining and I totally enjoyed spending yesterday evening reading all the threads on 4um

Demolition without planes and fire would be too obvious an inside job. The planes provided a decent cover story for a while, but once the shock wore off, those of us with a few working brain cells began to see through the fairy tale.

silly conspiracy theories take away from learning the real truth
Not only that,but those same conspiracy theories are LOVED by the government because it allows them to dismiss any questions about their conduct as being linked to "those insane conspiracy freaks".
Instead of helping the cause of freedom,all they are doing in hurting it and helping the government.
AND....it does no good at all to argue with them because they are obsessed with every little detail,and have reams of false "Facts" to back up their arguments. What makes it so hard to argue against any conspiracy theory is that the best ones are all believable because there is a basis in fact to all of them.
For example *I* am the one that started the conspiracy theory Hillary Clinton being behind the crash of JFK Jr's airplane and his death. I started this rumor on FR and used the fact that he had been talking about running for the same Senate seat ("his" family Senate seat) that she was running for,and this is the reason she had a had the airplane rigged to crash. Within a hour this was accepted as the gospel,and I was being called a DNC shill for saying it was made up,and a liar for saying I was the one who made it up. DESPITE the fact that the proof I was the one who made it up was right there on that very thread!
Everybody jumped on the one little fact about the Senate seat,and that was all they needed or wanted to hear.

I buy it. There is no motive for such a complicated plan. A much simpler plan could be done that has the same effect without 1/10 the risk. Faking a truck bombing like the OKC bombing and have the building fall instantly for one.
I'm not an expert in civil engineering, nor material sciences, but I've taken a course on metal stresses and strains, and what happens at the failure point in metals. I understand the basics of how the collapse happened, but I'm not nearly qualified to judge it. However the people who are qualified, aren't coming out and saying its impossible.
So the experts don't agree, there is no motive, and there is no reliable evidence. Why should I believe such a thing?
Furthermore, you believe your government murdered thousands of Americans for political gain, and successfully covered it up. Why are you not at war with it? I'm not for revolution, except under very drastic situations, one such situation would be the government murdering it citizens.
And if you are not at war with it because you know you'd die (which I wouldn't look down on you for, I wouldn't fight without sufficient numbers either), why don't you try to uncover some of the guilty parties? Woodward and Bernstein didn't expose Nixon by writing letters to the editor in obscure papers.
