No,it wasn't,and it's plenty disputable.

I'm not about to waste any more of my time disputing these facts with people who are absolutely in love with this conspiracy theory. Believe what you want to believe.

It can't even torture people in Iraq in secret

Do you really think the photos depicting demented acts of degration were just something that came about because there were a few photo bugs onboard?

Something like that doesn't happen by accident. It is a psyop, the publicity and tales about torture are MEANT to piss people off. The more Muslims they can piss off, the better.

There's nothing like a REAL terror event to move things in the "right" direction. That way there won't be any questions asked, and everyone will gladly go along with whatever they are told needs to be done.

The demolition hypothesis is the only one that makes sencse given the nature of the collapse.

That highly heated steel buckles under pressure?

Are you really this ignorant? Or do you think we are just a bunch of dumbass yahoos?

No response, yes.

Demolition without planes and fire would be too obvious an inside job. The planes provided a decent cover story for a while, but once the shock wore off, those of us with a few working brain cells began to see through the fairy tale.

Why would they choose a cover that, if what you say is true, any decent civil engineer in America would see through?

If they just flew airplanes into buildings and they just burned, and didn't fall, do you really think people would have been less pissed off? Why does the building need to fall?

What is more likely? Our domestic air defense systems were hopelessly unprepared, or our government set it up, then perfectly executed the plan?

Do you think the war games planned for that day, and the armada of ships sitting in the Indian Ocean were just there by coincidence?

Do you REALLY think a 110 story can collapse about as fast as if it were falling through thin air?

silly conspiracy theories take away from learning the real truth

Not only that, but those same conspiracy theories are LOVED by the government because it allows them to dismiss any questions about their conduct as being linked to "those insane conspiracy freaks".

Instead of helping the cause of freedom, all they are doing in hurting it and helping the government.

AND....it does no good at all to argue with them because they are obsessed with every little detail, and have reams of false "Facts" to back up their arguments. What makes it so hard to argue against any conspiracy theory is that the best ones are all believable because there is a basis in fact to all of them.

For example *I* am the one that started the conspiracy theory Hillary Clinton being behind the crash of JFK Jr's airplane and his death. I started this rumor on FR and used the fact that he had been talking about running for the same Senate seat ("his" family Senate seat) that she was running for,and this is the reason she had a had the airplane rigged to crash. Within a hour this was accepted as the gospel, and I was being called a DNC shill for saying it was made up,and a liar for saying I was the one who made it up. DESPITE the fact that the proof I was the one who made it up was right there on that very thread!

Everybody jumped on the one little fact about the Senate seat, and that was all they needed or wanted to hear.

They did fake something that defies the laws of the universe and some people still buy it, and some just shill for it. Which are you?

I buy it. There is no motive for such a complicated plan. A much simpler plan could be done that has the same effect without 1/10 the risk. Faking a truck bombing like the OKC bombing and have the building fall instantly for one.

I'm not an expert in civil engineering, nor material sciences, but I've taken a course on metal stresses and strains, and what happens at the failure point in metals. I understand the basics of how the collapse happened, but I'm not nearly qualified to judge it. However the people who are qualified, aren't coming out and saying its impossible.

So the experts don't agree, there is no motive, and there is no reliable evidence. Why should I believe such a thing?

Furthermore, you believe your government murdered thousands of Americans for political gain, and successfully covered it up. Why are you not at war with it? I'm not for revolution, except under very drastic situations, one such situation would be the government murdering it citizens.

And if you are not at war with it because you know you'd die (which I wouldn't look down on you for, I wouldn't fight without sufficient numbers either), why don't you try to uncover some of the guilty parties? Woodward and Bernstein didn't expose Nixon by writing letters to the editor in obscure papers.

As if your life depended on it yesterday.

I absolutely, 100%, recommend G. Edward Griffin's book, The Creature From Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve. It's a must read. Beyond being informative, I found it interesting as to current affairs and historically. It's well written, easy to understand, and well referenced throughout. If you are angry now, you will be absolutely fuming when halfway through reading it and beyond livid when finished.

And then you may need to pound a few keys on the old computer to get some steam off. : )

The war games yes. I don't know about an Armada in the Indian Ocean, care to explain further.

Do you REALLY think a 110 story can collapse about as fast as if it were falling through thin air?

It didn't fall at free fall. All video evidence suggests it fell slower. Free fall would be about 9+ seconds, the video evidence suggests at minimum 13+ seconds more like 15+ in one tower and 17+ in the other.

Plus if demolitions were set it wouldn't fall at free fall either. The buildings collapse at the impact and then collapse down. Even if the collapse was started by demolitions (how the fuck did they aim the planes that well!) it would still have to follow the laws of physics. You can't fake those.

The pictures were a massive embarrassment for the Bush admin, and helped start the antiwar movement in moderate political circles.

We haven't pulled out of Iraq or Afghanistan yet, so I don't think that anti- war movement was too successful.

Besides, the southern border is still wide open. Don't you think they'd close it down REALLY well if they truly DIDN'T want a terror attack to occur on US soil? The torture, both photographed and reported, was not to extract "confessions". It was to agitate a response.

"They" do not hate us for our freedoms.

Yes,they do. Primarly because we have the freedom to choose to not be Muslims or to come under Muslim laws. Our women can even go shopping without male family escorts without even having to wear Burkas or masks. They can even be doctors and teachers to male children. Those are a few of the big reasons they hate us.

Or are you prepared to claim they would make an exception for America being a non-Muslim country with freedoms to read and watch what we want to read, marry who we want to marry, and worship how we want to worship if we stopped supporting Israel?

BTW,I'd like to see us stop supporting Israel, too. Not because I hate Jews. I don't. I just fail to see what America gets in return for spending billions of dollars a year to prop up a welfare state that does nothing but stab us in the back.

(possibly the most idotic statement ever in the history of the universe).

BullBarack! What part about us being free to not be Muslims is it that you have a hard time understanding?

They hate us for our Lukid Israel party support.

Biggest load of HorseHillary being sold. Israel is such a perfect excuse for Jew haters that if it didn't exist they would have to invent it. Israel also serves as a handy whipping boy for the Arab leaders because they can blame all their problems on Israel. Hitler did this with the Jews, and the blacks are doing it today with whites. You can never go wrong by telling people all their problems are the fault of someone else.

They hate the Jews primarily because they aren't Muslims, just like Christians and most westerners aren't Muslims.

Their goal is to have a world totally under the domination of Islam and Muslim law. Israel is no more than a minor speed bump compared to the rest of the world.

45 Civil engineers, only one a Phd. Not very impressive since even most small universities graduate more civies than that every semester. Compared the number of CE's there are in the country, it is statistical noise.

The very fact that site counts people with a BS in electrical engineering makes its a joke. I have a BS in EE, and guess what. I'm no where near an expert, and claiming so is extremely unethical. It makes the site a joke.
