It could just be that Goldi has gone away for the weekend and doesn't know the site is down,or that there has been an equipment failure of some sort and they are working on getting it fixed.
Or it could just be that she got tired of putting up with all the crap,and just pulled the plug. I doubt the last one,though. I think she would post a notice if she were going to do this.

I doubt that was true. I think "she" was just trying to start a food fight between LP and this forum, to see who would fall for it. She might have been a Leftie, might have been a Klown fallen on hard times.
There was something kind of Klownish about the Mrs. Yukon posts. Don't get me wrong, I always thought the Klowns were funny when they went after the more ridiculous crap at FR. And they did a public service by exposing some of the online fraud and misrepresentations by various posters at FR with their fake military charities and such.

I was merely describing a thread at LP. It was pretty outrageous.
If people want to criticize Jews or Israel or neocon influence on American policy, that's okay with me if there is some factual basis. But insane rantings over "the jooz" is a detriment to any forum IMO. It's probably even more in bad taste to post such threads on a forum run by a Jewish person. I tend to think that is deliberate provocation. You should always keep in mind there are fanatics and shutins and nutjobs that will make it their purpose in life to drive a forum owner nuts trying to police their forum against harassment or bogus threads. We've all seen it before on these various forums. Personally, I don't like to see good forums disappear because of griefers and obsessed nutjobs.
Anyway, I wasn't so much commenting on antisemitism as I was over the apparent baiting of Goldi and how the Mrs. Yukon poster was making it appear that she was trying to poach LP posters to drag them over here.

Most of us are well aware of how FR LP and others are run and operated. This is not true here. Any and all attempts to report or censor anyone will bring you grief. There is no leeway on that subject.

Again, what 'grief' do you claim you inflict on other posters here? I'm curious. And how do you imagine that I would be in a position to "censor" anyone?
What you are saying then is that there is absolutely no censorship here, nothing that can cause a thread or a post or a private mail to be removed? Or a poster to be suspended or banned?
If true, that would be a first in my experience.
Quoting 4um's own home page: "Consistent with these two fundamental unalienable rights, this forum constitutes the private property of its owners and, as such, allows for the exercise of our right to freedom of association and freedom of non-association, based on our preferences. Therefore, regarding banning policies of this forum, as they relate to the protection of private property, the owners reserve the right to suspend or terminate the posting privileges of guests on this forum at our discretion."
So, strangely enough, the forum owner does suspend or ban people based on their posts and the forum owner is free to do so on an arbitrary basis (not subject to the opinions of any forum members). Which is exactly what I expect on any forum, especially political forums.
I hope you're not too shocked by this news that 4um does reserve the right to censor and I have no doubt they are forced to from time to time.
Now that you've tried to threaten me with "grief" or intimidate me with your own posts apparently due to your concern that I might someday flag a moderator for some reason, do you actually know anything about LP's outage? I was merely contributing some info about LP, the Mrs Yukon thing, something mentioned by several other posters on this thread.
My understanding was that christine is the moderator and owner here. I know Christine is the one who authorized me to post here via email. Am I mistaken? Are you the moderator and/or owner of this forum?

Because you all got banned for antisemitism at those forums? Somehow, I doubt it. FWIW, I got banned from FR because some Jewish posters didn't like that I was insisting that Ron Paul wanted to cut all foreign aid to all countries when they were trying to pretend that he was antisemitic and was actually only trying to cut aid to Israel. So I am well acquainted with that kind of thing. But the fact that I was railroaded and mistreated that way by dishonest persons hammering the Abuse button doesn't mean I'll accept without question when people post blood libel material if they have no proof to back it up.

Dont bother to strain anything.
Just a friendly reminder to pilgrims from LP, the rules are different here.
We sort of like it this way. If anti semetic remarks offend you, I suggest you grow a thicker skin.
I was thrown out of FR, Lucys, LP and one or two more because I tired of people flying the anti semetic flag day after day.
Just trying to be helpful, your other friends will read all of this and take heed, so you have served a purpose.
