I couldn't. Not even when I got my first one in 1965,or my most recent one in 1991. I was required to present a certified true copy of my birth certificate each time.

I renewed my passport back in 2006. I did not need a birth certificate.

The only copy I've ever had was a COLB issued 3 days after I was born in Cook County IL in 1985. It has no doctors signature, and has differnent info than what Hawaii's does, some more, and some less.

I've only been here today but so far it seems Birthier, Truthier, and Jewier than LP was. And all of that just on a thread about LP being offline. ;)

You suppose Goldi is just trying to make us miss her? Doesn't she realize just how low our standards really are?

I am wondering where some of LP's fixtures are, people like Yukon or Marguerite or Magician or McCain_Rocks. Probably in severe withdrawal, standing in line down at the methadone clinic by now.

Are you sure you were born in Cook County? Or if your year of birth is correct? They can put anything on there.

I can't remember the last time the LP crack house went down, but certainly a lot of discussion with unknowns could have been a shock for some.

You think there should be a birther, Truther, Jewy test?

If goldie is the school marm, then, well, no wonder all the new kids are annoying to you. Reality in a free forum can be trying I suppose.

But I do understand missing your comfort zone. I guess we're all going to have to get used to heavier chains soon.

Aren't you glad you got out for a run now before you are permanently stuck barking at the end of your chain? ;)

Walter Jones,R-NC.

He is a Republican congressman that wasn't allowed in the White House for the last 8 years. He represents eastern NC,which includes Camp Lejune. About 2 years ago he gave a anti-Iraq war speech to the Marines at Camp Lejune, and got a standing ovation.

He is also a practicing Catholic, and gets elected by overwhelming percentages in fundie Protestant NC.

Well said. One would think a visitor would leave ill manners at the door with their dirty shoes when visiting. Once the Jewess finds a working wall socket for that server they will return from whence they came. I suppose the transition between a heavy handed, war mongering moderator, to a hands off model is probably a tad shocking.

Walter Jones,R-NC

What impressed me was his courage in being so antiwar in such a strongly military congressional district with so many military retirees and veterans. That took guts and I think he sweated it for a bit and decided to take a stand on conscience even if it cost him re-election. He is, naturally, a good friend of Ron Paul's and got some campaign money from RP's PAC too.

Thank you very much for this post, TC

ROFLMAO! Most people complain about her NOT doing any moderating at all,and the people here on "free speech 4um" have done nothing but complain about people from LP expressing our viewpoints ever since we started coming here.

Guess what? You could say "I HATE JEWS!" on LP and be just as ignored as saying "I LOVE JEWS" there.

Jethro, that's the very point I was making a couple of hundred posts ago on this thread. Sure, some people may have been quick to scream for mama to come protect them from the bad mans over on LP,but it never seemed to help them. Victoria even tried to play the anti-Semite card over there and get Goldi to go along with her,and it was Victoria that got banned instead of the people she was demanding be banned.

I'm not going to defend Goldi for banning all of the people that she has banned. I prefer that nobody be banned for expressing a opinion no matter how unpopular, but that's just me riding my high horse. I probably would have banned more people than Goldi if it had been my web site, and for much less reason.

was it War?
yes War and I are dear friends because I have been on forums with him since my very first one
back at Y2K (Lucianne)
and he has redeeming qualities
but you do realize he is only on forums to drive posters up the wall
he has no other purpose for being on
all his posts are designed to do that
our friendship not withstanding, his political posts to me are designed to drive me up the wall too
he had already left LP few months ago on his own, I don't know when he arrived here
but he is hardly a typical LP poster, since his purpose is to drive us nuts :)
Yes I love him, and yes he has friends on LP
but that is because sometimes he breaks out of his "pest" role to engage in normal friendly discourse
he is a nice guy
but obviously there is no way to see it when he is posting for the express purpose of upsetting everyone
