I renewed my passport back in 2006. I did not need a birth certificate.

Could this have been because your current passport hadn't expired?

Correct. It had not expired.

We are a people who obey out of fear, not a sense of what is right and good. It should be illegal for lawyers to hold any elected government office.

Meanwhile, Americans go to prison for petty theft, whilst their adversaries in the Elite and in government steal, invade privacy, violate the constitution they are sworn to uphold, and murder daily..completely unmolested by laws or consequences. Our lives have become open books to be exploited and controlled by the Elite and their institutions. The entire world has access to a man's credit rating and can even deny him an employment position because of it, yet our politicians tell us "the past does not matter" when it concerns their misadventures.

It is time for a revolution of ideas, not just power change. It is time to examine everthing we've been told from 1776 onward.

outstanding. i'm glad you linked that. i had missed it.

We know posters here like that. The kind that duck dodge hide by saying things like "Both parties are corrupt but republicans are evil.." It's the "BUT" that exposes their true colors. My patience...tolerance if you will...is gone for those who participate in this mad display of cognitive dissonance.

Sounds like he is spinning to me. You will notice he didn't make that claim about getting the passport the first time.

Spinning? LOL! Whatever you say, dude.

Yes, I'm sure I needed a birth certificate when I got my first passport, although it was when I was a young lad, so I don't really remember.

outstanding. i'm glad you linked that.

Thank you. My list in the second linked post is incomplete..but it's a start.

--The government set up by the Constitution-- "is likely to be well administered for a Course of Years and can only end in Despotism as other Forms have done before it, when the People shall become so corrupted as to need Despotic Government, being incapable of any other."
--- -Benjamin Franklin

--The arrogance shown by the British in seizing a couple of hundred American merchantmen is a trait to be found in Adam's own countrymen-- "The United States is Britain's very image and superscription . . . as true a gamecock as she and, I warrant you, shall become as great a scourge to mankind."
----John Adams

TheSystem needs a revolution of ideas. Ron Paul doesn't go nearly far enough. We need to revisit everything from 1776 to the present and overhaul the entire system, beginning with:

term limits on all governments offices (local state fed) [one place where the founders really screwed up]
overhauling the unjust and tyrannical LegalIndustrialComplex including but not limited to a citizen review board with power to oversee and investigate and reverse any judicial and police action including miscarriages of justice in the courtrooms thereby ending the supreme power of judges and lying police over the Liberty of the people
repealing the income tax
repealing all gun laws. period.
ending the two party system
outlawing all contributions to politicians serving and running for office
ending all foreign aid and foreign wars
eliminating the federal reserve
an immediate forgiveness of the outstanding consumer debt of every AmeriKan
ending the H1B Visa program forcing employers to hire Americans
repeal of SHAFTA
ending Social Security contributions for all Americans and allowing them to keep their money
immediate distribution back to the people of all money stolen from Americans in the form of SS taxes in a lump sum regardless of age
an end to the accumulation and storing of American's personal information from medical records to credit reports
an end to the "wars on _____" with the immediate legalization of all naturally growing plants and a release of all in prison solely for possession of these substances
destroying the no-fly list
implementing national right to carry reinforcing the Second Amendment
ban lawyers from serving in public office.
expose the truth behind 911 with an unlimited investigation that can be stopped by no person, agency or lawyer with all records being subject to publication and review, with no claim of "national security" being sufficient to stop their release
Immediate deportation of all illegal aliens.

Lawyers, bankers, judges, LEO agencies (all levels) with no oversight to their misdeeds, domestic traitors in government, and business interests have long held the reigns of power over the rights of the people. This will end. Freedom takes guts. That's just the beginning of this revolution... All ideas should be considered.

The LegalIndustrialComplex in this country (supposedly-along with the founding documents-based on "religious" ideals) is the anti-thesis of everything moral. I'll leave religion out of it. Too many have been killed in its name. It would take an entire manuscript to even scratch the surface on this topic. Leave it best to say only that our LIC is not about "justice" nor is it about altruism.

Many are in prison who do not belong there. Virtually every "crime" worthy of incarceration carries with it a figurative death sentence of destroyed lives with no other purpose than the perpetuation of the lie that somehow the American legal system is just and sound.

Do all crimes deserve the death penalty as stated above? Should all violators (I refuse to acknowledge the word "criminal" because it is has invalid and incorrect connotations) have their wealth and families destroyed during and after a trial for which there is an almost certain chance they will be found guilty...not by any preponderance of the evidence, but due to unconstitutional judge's instructions, "testilying" by police, incompetent defense and Evil laws that should never have been written in the first place???

Should people be expected to have their lives destroyed merely waiting for a trial in a kangaroo court when they are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty?

There are too many unjust laws on the books. There are too many laws on the books.. period. Because who defines "just?" Anything has become an excuse to deprive a supposedly free people from their Liberty. Indeed, everyone has been deemed a criminal by the law. The unlucky time will come when the the persecutors decide to use the law to their own ends...indeed that time has already come. Lawyers, along with the warped sense of justice from which they derive their profession, have destroyed the fabric of the nation.

Don't tread on me.

Here's where we diverge Miss Palo.

One may respect people's right to believe (fill in the blank)...but one does not have to respect what they believe, and is even
obligated to fight what they believe with every fiber of their being
if it is destroying life and liberty.

Meanwhile, the Tolerant among us stand by while Lady Liberty is gang raped.

The usa needs a systemic overhaul from the top down,
as does everything we've been taught to believe in our government school brainwashing factories

O my sweet love, I am happy to see you

You think there should be a birther, Truther, Jewy test?

No. There is some limit for my patience with people who have an absolute monomania for such subjects, who demand that everyone share their obsession, that every conversation must be turned to the object of their passion, that they have discovered the One Great Truth that connects all their obsessions into a cohesive totality that can explain all that is wrong with the world since I find those belief systems to be essentially religious dogma, not something you can test factually.

Of course, if you want to hand out awards for the Birthiest, the Truthiest, and the Jewiest posts here at 4um, I might find that entertaining.

If goldie is the school marm, then, well, no wonder all the new kids are annoying to you. Reality in a free forum can be trying I suppose.

I thought Goldi had become almost invisible. I did notice that certain threads disappeared after a few weeks, something I've seen before from mods on other forums and something I think is dishonest. I never like forums pretending they haven't hosted a particular kind of discussion. As for the "new kids" you think I'm encountering here, you might be surprised just how many folks I knew here back in the old days at FR. I had a different handle then.

Aren't you glad you got out for a run now before you are permanently stuck barking at the end of your chain? ;)

And you guys aren't? And I would bet I could find topics that could get me banned from this forum if I gave it some thought. I doubt 4um is quite so free as some of you claim. OTOH, I'm not interested in being quite that antisocial; it defeats the purpose of such forums and I don't like disruptors.

IIRC, the last time we experienced an influx of LP'ers was when she silenced the Ron Paul folks. What was that about?

I never did figure that out because I was/am a "Ron Paul folks" and I was never banned.

My vague recollection is one or two RP supporters were banned for continually filling up the breaking news box with RP campaign press releases, and not stopping when asked.

I may be wrong, though. I wasn't really involved in any of that.

If you doubt 4um is quite so free, you must have a basis for that. What is it?

General programming from the treatment and indoctrination from other forums?

Why would you say such a thing considering that such a statement in itself is poking the host and guests, as this is a free forum and has never asked for a dime to run it.

Rather rude, don't you think?

As for your limits, why do I need to know that? Did you wonder about mine? Should we have a pact to to tread lightly with each other, or just do the basic, treat others as you wish to be treated?

No one asked me to pass a test to post here.

No one has threatened me or intimidated me for my opinions.

No one ran to call a moderator moment around here as far as I can see.

What is the problem.

Too Jewy, Too Truthy, Too Birther. Pretty much your words.

So what is it that bothers you to make you think something is TOO much?

conversation, discussion is not always a DEBATE of ideas, but sharing what's on your mind. It doesn't always have to have a winner or loser, but to my way of thinking it plants a few seeds. To see things as others view them, is an exercise that enables growth and a measure of what you are 'allowed' to know and speak.

Not a bad thing at all.

And, the best part, if you ignore someone for being an a-hole, bet on you being on someones list too.

Kumbayaa was always sang at camp.
