Intellectual honesty will only highlight the deep voids you possess in character and America first patriotism based on Constitutional boundaries - in the spirit of the Founders. There's no fine line; it's black and white.

Well, that's sure of mouthful of rhetoric. :-)

And here I thought you were telling me how freely everyone could express themselves here on any topic.

Of course - just don't act all surprised when you get smacked upside the nog for being patently WRONG and / or IGNORANT. ~8^)

(litus) My recollection is that beyond Goldi's claim that "every other thread" being posted was about Ron Paul, there was lots of "spamming" type of threads, which Goldi decided to blame on "Ron Paul posters."

IIRC, that was a bald face lie. She didn't have a problem with frequent Mitt Romney threads, frequent John McCain threads, or any others who were running. Just Ron Paul and accusations that "just the spamming" was being done by Ron Paul "followers."

Ridiculous.

But Palo may have a better memory about that, since she left because of Ron Paul being verboten.

(sneakypete) I don't remember seeing frequent pro-Romney or McLunatic threads over there. Not on the order of the RP threads, anyhow.

(litus) Just Ron Paul and accusations that "just the spamming" was being done by Ron Paul "followers."

(Pete) That's the way it seemed to me,too.
Ask Palo. I think she was involved in this at some level because she was a pretty dedicated RP follower.

I think Goldi disgraced herself over Ron Paul
but Too Conservative said we (the Ron Paul followers) overdid it
that we turned whole forum into Ron Paul campaign HQ
and for posters who were not into that
we ruined the balance on the forum
TC may have a point, and perhaps Goldi was responding to that
but I don't think so
Goldi's candidate was Tancredo, she would have accepted LP becoming Tancredo all the time
if he had not dropped out
she simply didn't go for Ron Paul I have decided to overlook it that that happened, others may hold it agaist her
Love, Palo

I eventually returned to LP despite the banning of Ron Paul articles, I like the forum
and posters disobeyed the banning anyway, we always had Ron Paul threads going on

I agree. I was a RP supporter myself, and was happy to read about his thoughts on different subjects, but "RON PAUL EATS A CHEESE SANDWICH FOR LUNCH!" isn't exactly breaking news or something I'm interested in reading about.

Precisely.

These forums only have a certain amount of sidebar space. I recall seeing a half-dozen or more spammy Ron Paul threads in a row. That happened a number of times. Posting like that is just an attempt to use someone's forum as your own press release site. Sometimes really good articles just disappeared and were never seen by most posters because they just got bumped off the bottom of the sidebar list.

Of course, I didn't fail to notice how all the Ron Paul threads were supposedly banned. Well, except for a constant string of Paul-hater threads and I think a couple of well-known posters at LP had a second ID to post them under so they could then leap in under their real names. It's not like it's that hard to tunnel to a remote machine or use Tor. The Paul-hater threads characteristically were a single post from some Paul-hater blog no one had ever heard of and the poster of the thread left virtually no comments of their own. One assumes this is because they were aware that we all have habitual speech patterns and that their duplicity would be readily discovered if they posted anything under their fake ID.

Very true; I forgot about that. She was all gungho behind Tancredo and, at the time, he wasn't doing well (was this shortly before he handed the reigns over to an open border faux conservative...shocking most Tancredo followers). RP was a genuine threat to Tancredo at the time.

And here I thought you were telling me how freely everyone could express themselves here on any topic. Am I somehow oppressing you with only three teeny-weeny words?

Nice diversion tactic. No, I never said it, you did. This place was too "Birthier, Truthier, and Jewier". Still asking the same question. What's the problem.

Oppressed? Where did you get that idea?

I'm asking for an answer as to how you determined the above. What topics are off-limits therefore providing you a more pleasant posting experience?

I tend to only bozo those with huge colored font sigs or endless graphics. Of course, LP didn't have a sig line feature (that I noticed) so 4um is better that way; I noticed 4um's no-taglines feature just after I started using browser filters to kill them all off manually in Firefox. Obviously, Neil Ivers produced a more complete forum software for 4um; LP has an older version. I got the impression that Neil parted ways with Goldi over how the forum was run though he was too classy to start a food fight with her over it.

I really don't care.

No one asks me if I like their tagline either. I guess its just a free expression blasting itself all over the place. No neat little orderlines. Oh the humanity! LOL ;)

My free speech means that I have 100% control over what I say and everyone else has 0% control over what I say. Now, I understand that there are consequences to exercising my right to free speech, but I still retain 100% control.

Does this just apply to you or to everyone? :-)

So what do you see as the differences between LP and here?

Then she took a shine to that fake patriot tancredo.

She then said some nice things about Baldwin before shilling ultimately for mcKein.

She's a goof ball, israel-first, Ron Paul hater.

tancredo supported the Traitorous MCA & NDAA legislation.

Among other travesties. The NAU-Illegal Alien Invasion was a spring board for a nobody neocon but the real tancredo couldn't hide.

No, palo. I'm not talking about the regular RP supporters, just a couple of seminar posters who went totally nuts.

I'm talking about only a few that I never saw or heard of on the real RP forums either like DailyPaul or RonPaulForums. You almost had to wonder if they were provocateurs. I'm pretty much always against disruptor types. And those RP forums monitored and analyzed every forum to judge which might be friendly or unfriendly to RP posters and RP threads. I can't recall opinion on 4um but LP didn't fare too well. FR was watched very closely by RPF folk and drove them all completely nuts, especially when they saw us all getting banned, one by one because certain whiny Rudi Drag-Queen supporters or certain circumcised persons or jihadist militarists complained about our posts against warmongering liberal New Yorkers in drag, foreign aid, the war in Iraq.

Well, palo, if I might offer an explanation.

Ron Paul and Sarah Palin are like night and day. It is a bit strange that you supported Sarah Palin after supporting Ron Paul. You claim to be a libertarian (is that right?), but Sarah Palin is far from libertarian.
