Past memories brought to present seeing your handle.

I'm a recovering Repubican who, by God's grace, was able to hop out of the matrix.

If you consider Pete the "enemy," we're ALL in trouble.

Some folks see conspiracies at different junctures, from different perspectives ...immediately OR in good time.

You may not agree with the man - and I don't always - but he's spot on most of the time and as intellectually honest a poster as I've seen.

Has Goldi ever neglected LP to this extent?

Seems to me she has been pretty much ignoring it for the last several months. Ever since she got the new job, anyhow.

I'm inclined to believe a combination of the grief of dealing mentally disturbed whining posters, the wretched state of the Union, and pressures we may not be privy to in her personal life may have caused her to say "SCREW IT!"...even for a week or so and beyond.

She definitely has more patience than I do. I would have bailed long ago.

Hope she's alright.

Me,too. I'm hoping we hear something soon.

Do you still buy the lie that fundie muzzies hit us on 9/11 without Bush's help?

It pained me to believe it so without reservation, but the complicity by purposeful neglect indicts the globalist Bush Administration puppetmeisters is obvious IMO.

Oh...And, no, I don't believe Bush himself was capable of masterminding a lemonade stand.

Yeah - Thank God LP hasn't exactly been babysat to the extent that JimRob hawks over his Stalinist site, but it could be cleaned up a bit. But hey - maybe her priorities are exactly the way they oughta be.

>>" She definitely has more patience than I do. I would have bailed long ago."

And I as well...Hope we something soon on both her health and the status of the forum...

Despite LP being a great outlet for blowing off steam and lending itself to constructive and unrestrictive, uncensored debate, some the kiddies seem bent on sabotaging it...

Gray area there, Pete.

I've made the case with respect to 9/11 as analogous to leaving the store door wide open and unguarded - along with an open cash register - then claiming no responsibility for the thievery.

No," taken off the air" means it can no longer be seen. In the context you presented it,it means the government took it off the air because they didn't want people seeing it and thinking. If that were true,it wouldn't be playing on 4 channels tonight.

I just explained the context in which I presented it. You're now inferring meaning which is fraudulent. Off you go now. I haven't time for your jousting. Goodbye.

Wasn't the slack picked up by Astoria's forum? where did everyone from there go?

I assume Herr JR's FR was too Stalinist for you? If you're like me you'd found some elements whereever with which you related, but did not "fall-in-line" with the consensus.

As we've gotten to "know" 0bomba, I believe Dubya's actually gained in mental stature. Sadly. And ironically.

Dubya may not have been able to run that lemonade stand, but at least he would have attempted to run it; Obama would have turned his nose up at the prospect, while giggling and lighting HUGE joint...then conning someone else to run it.

Here is what his pet chimp (Michelle) said about him:

"Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zone . . . Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual - uninvolved, uninformed."

Where did she get the stupid idea that he could "require" people to work? He is an EMPLOYEE, not the boss. And it is doubtful he is even a legitimate employee.

Apparently when the 'State takes the Road':

An Extract from "DAS KAPITAL" Karl Marx - 1867

"Owners of capital will stimulate the working class to buy more and more expensive goods, and houses, pushing them to take more and more expensive credits, until debt becomes unbearable.

The unpaid debt will lead to the bankruptcy of banks, which will have to be nationalized, and the State will have to take the road which will eventually lead to Communism. "

Karl Marx, 1867.
