You still put faith and trust in various governing schemes and scams.

You mistake what trust is.

The law is what it is. And just because a legislative body CAN legislate it does not mean that we should trust what comes out of them. By the same token, we can't immediately call all legislation unconstitutional just bcauise we do not like it.

As to JR reacting "reasonable and gentlemanly," THAT must have been a looong time ago in another galaxie - before he became a "celebrity" pr*ck and Stalinist tool of the GOP/Bush/NWO machine.

Well...my definition of "reasonable" is that he did what I requested that he do and when I told him thank-you he responded with "you're welcome" then banned my account as a "Troll".

She even threatened to ban people for posting articles about Ron. Do you remember that? She said something to the effect that she didn't want to see any more articles about him unless he had died or something. Real class, eh?

the funny thing is I was at DIGG at the time
I had left LP in protest of the banning of Ron Paul articles
I was posting on Ron Paul threads at DIGG
(it was a Sunday morning)
when Breaking News article in the Ron Paul section on DIGG went up
with title something like Liberty Post owner calls for Ron Paul asassination
obviously I misread it
I thought "O no Goldi has lost her marbles"
I immediately clicked the link to it on DIGG
and there were about 1000 posts on thread
the actual title was different -- it was something like no articles about RP allowed unless he is assassinated
which is very bad!
I had not been lurking on LP after I left
so I was fascinated to read that long thread
and I have to tell you after all my struggles and ups and downs trying to be on DIGG
plus I did not know anyone there
I found that 1000 post thread, it later became 2000 posts
totally thrilling reading
I spent 2 whole days reading it
there were so many interesting posts, perceptive posts, the discussion was so hot and heavy, and vivid
I had never lurked on LP (only been a poster)
I hadn't appreciated how much intelligence there was on that forum, until I lurked on that long long thread
then I clicked on 4um, which had an extraordinary Ron Paul article posted, by Jacob Hornberger
I was so grateful to 4um for discovering it and posting it
and I took it right over to LP and posted it in Breaking News
another poster (Pern) had defied Goldi's ban that day too, I give him so much credit
he inspired me to defy it
it was like a revolution on LP
Pern went right on defying her ban and posting Ron Paul articles in Breaking News
but I only did 3 altogether, when they were great articles
and I stayed on LP ever since
Love, Palo

Of course, if Cynicom gets us banned at LP, he'll obviously get stuck with having us here at 4um.

His reasoning skills may be getting a bit rusty when faced with such a dilemma. You can almost hear those creaking gears grinding away, metal fatigue in every sprocket tooth.

maybe I should just speak for myself
but I think all things considered she did a great job with her forum
because the proof must be in the pudding
it was a great forum (no matter what flaws it had)

Mmmm...back to padlock and yukon and Magician...you make it sound so attractive. :)

I do like this version of the forum software a bit better, despite the inclusion of the mail feature.

Of course, all these political forums need to finally move past Perl/Php stuff and go to Web 2.0 and AJAX. At least, if you ever want to grow and draw the energetic younger crowd. Ron Paul did well that way, something the political forums should look at more closely.

Bandwidth doesn't have to go up just because you get AJAXy. Or even just AJAXier than some other site.

How do you bold stuff? You're good at THAT sort of thing at least! ;)

But, I don't want to delay your departure a second longer.

(war) Speaking of banned, I know that trixie banned you, but I don't know the reason...did Bill ban you as well and if so why?

Hi my sweet darling
Trixie did not ban me, I left Lucianne becuse of her rule posters are not allowed to speak to each other on her forum
I realized we posters on forums are there because we love to communicate with each other
a no-communication rule, would not work for me
the only forum I knew about then was FR, so I went over there

I had trouble at FR because I was critical of Bush
and those FR harpies came over and flamed me for 1000 posts for criticizing Bush
LOL and a lot of their flames were mentally disturbed :)
they weren't yelling at me about my politics
they claimed I was having cyber sex with some poster on FR I never even heard of
I forget his name now
he was a passionate idealist/libertarian
I had criticized Bush on that thread (it was about the DOJ) for not bringing the clinton corruption to justice
I posted Bush demonstrates there is one law for the rich and powerful
and another for schnooks like us

And this poster, very sweetly and gently
tried to get me to see there is no diff. between Pubs and Dems, they are both evil
you know how stubborn I am, War, I stuck to my guns
but I was gentle too, and signed the post "Love, Palo"
there were only 3 posts on that thread then
but I guess a lot of people on FR were bored
someone came on (I didn't know anyone at FR then) and pinged a bunch of people
and next thing I knew 1000 posts about how I am a slut and having cyber sex with this poster
LOL I wish I remember the name of my paramour :)
Love, Palo

I give Christine credit
we were on FR together then, she saw what was happening to me
and she pinged her friend Malador to come to my aid
which he did, he was great!

lol internet is a trip! I was a damsel in distress :)

Speaking of banned, I know that trixie banned you, but I don't know the reason...did Bill ban you as well and if so why?

Who is Bill?

I have never been banned on any forum
(forbidden to post there)
but on Liberty Forum, which is self-governing
each time a poster posts, everyone can hit a button about the post
3 posters there hated me, so every time I posted
they hit button to say it was obscene and disruptive
because it is a machine, once it hit 500
(I was not aware of any of this while it was going on)
then I automatically became invisible on the forum

this meant if anyone wanted to see any of my posts
they had to register "I want to read obscene and disruptive posts"
and then my posts would show up for them

I didn't discover this till I posted and then it was invisible to me
someone explained it to me in private mail there
so naturally I quit Liberty Forum
and just went back to LP (I was on both forums then, I think ?)
on LP I posted in Biker Bar about my experience on Liberty Forum
someone from Liberty Forum
a true sweetheart
O War, I tell you, internet is a trip!
here was a guy from Liberty Forum, a main poster there
whose every single post damned Jews to hell
(and you know I am Jewish, and I had told them at Liberty Forum)
I don't know if you know that forum, but they really do not like Jews there

and this poster read (on LP Biker Bar) what happened to me
O what an angel that guy was!
went right back to Liberty Forum, posted an article about it
and got everyone to rate each one of my posts as "excellent"
because the machine automatically takes you off INVISIBLE
if you receive 500 "excellents"

I was so deeply touched
I went right back to Liberty Forum
but after that I was aware of my numbers for "obscene and disruptive"
and when I saw them adding up again
I thought "this is too nerve-wracking"
so I did not come back

I guess not everyone knew I was Jewish there, altho I had posted it several times
the ones who caused me all the trouble were not the anti-Jewish posters
in fact the nazis on the forum were very nice to me
and even invited me to join the BUND :)
LOL

Goldi would use the ANTI Ron Paul posts as an example of "spam" yet allow those obvious spam posts to stand, right up till the electon.

If it came from a blog and was nothing but pure bullshit, it stayed on LP. If it was a legitimate news article about Ron Paul, it was deleted and the poster would be banned and/or chastised.

I didn't post many, but the few pro-Ron Paul threads I posted were not deleted.

Towards the beginning Goldi didn't delete them. After the obvious spammers and/or professional operatives filled LP with their blog articles on RP, only the spam was allowed to remain. There was some character whose handle I can't remember, but was probably an earlier incarnation of McCain_Rocks. People would frequently point out to Goldi his violation of her rules, yet he would continue to merrily post all sorts of absurd BS concerning RP yet any valid article about RP posted by sincere posters would be cause for a banning.

The report you link stated that it would have been possible for the WTC to collapse by "pancaking" in 8 seconds, yet it would have taken an object 9.2 seconds to hit the ground if it had fallen through thin air when dropped from the top of the WTC. That is impossible, yet folks like you not only believe that it is possible, but you view it as scientific fact.

Then you have the gall to think you know more about physics than those who know better, and have the audacity to call them morons or worse...

Lets see the experiments ran by truther civil engineers to show a theoretical collapse time for the towers. That type of experiment should be fairly easy to run. So how long is long enough for the towers to fall?

And exactly why would demolitions cause the tower to fall faster?

Thanks.

The steel did NOT disintegrate dickweed...

You have been a nasty mouthed little troll here war, I thought higher of you back on LP. Do you always resort to that sort of tactic when you are shown to be wrong?

Anyways, the collapse photos most certainly show the majority of the upper structure being pulverized and ejected sideways.

There was a HUGE loss of mass due to that, therefore there would be SUBSTANTIALLY less load on the lower portion of the structure. In fact, there was probably less loading force due to the kinetic energy of the upper part of the tower collapsing than the usual static loading force due to the potential energy of the upper part of the structure.

And exactly why would demolitions cause the tower to fall faster?

The demolitions would cause the floors below the falling upper part of the structure to give way before the upper structure reached them, thus providing no resistance to the falling mass.

If those floors hadn't yet been destroyed, it would have taken additional time for the falling structure to break through each one.

I posted three vids that proved with actual physics formulas that even if conditions were ideal (they weren't even close to ideal) that it would have taken 44 seconds to collapse.

Video evidence shows no explosions on the lower floors while it is falling down.

So how long should it have taken for the towers to collapse?
